I'm sorry to report that Robert O Dean has died. Bob Dean was
one of the most interesting and amiable figures in the UFOlogical and
exopolitical community. He was an eloquent and gentlemanly individual with a genuinely
warm and good-natured manner. He worked for NATO for twenty-eight years,
retiring as a US Army Command Sergeant Major, one of the highest non-commissioned
ranks. He was granted Cosmic Top Secret clearance; the highest level in the
NATO classified information structure. This gave him access to "The Assessment",
a document about UFO's which he bravely chose to speak out about. He was
eighty-nine years old and will be sadly missed by his family, his wife Marcia,

He certainly has. He was a true gem of a man. There will never be another like him.
Rip Bob. Very interesting gentelman, though I used hear some claim he was "Victor" from the alien interview. Whether that's true or not I don't know, but I suppose we'll never know. I have my reservations about Project Camelot though; used to glued to their videos years ago, but got tired of the usual dodgy people they interviewed.

I interviewed Bob over 25 years ago and sadly the interview only made it onto a limited run of VHS tapes but he is a man who had integrity and whos statement of his life and work at SHAPE never changed... and I have a lot of respect for the work he was said to have done there and being a whistle-blower for the ASSESSMENT which he read whilst at SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe). This document revealed that aliens and UFOs were real and that we did not have any kind of superirity or control over them, infact that clearly had control over us.
