Twitter Voicemail Update

Some new information has come to my attention that sheds some light on the case of the strange Twitter voicemail that I posted about last week. See here for essential background: A YouTuber called "Strangeries" has uploaded a video that he rashly calls CONCLUSION to Creepy Twitter Voicemail Message. He begins by correctly dismissing the connections to @StrayedAway's voicemail and Flight MH-370. As I said at the time, this was excessive speculation and those numbers could mean anything. I decided it was best to ignore them and concentrate on the words. I also pay no credence to the messages @StrayedAway has received since then because they are probably just hoaxes responding to the initial publicity and his reaction to it. The interesting part is where Strangeries cites an obscure info-tech podcast called "Gimlet Media- Reply All". The podcast addresses the peculiar phenomenon of phantom calls. Phantom calls are a relatively new problem that affects thousands of telephone users, especially if you're calling on a mobile phone. What happens is that the handset rings and when you answer you hear only outlandish noises or a stranger talking to you in an unintelligible way. The podcast plays some examples. One appears to be an audio recording of a basketball match; another is a series of sirens from emergency vehicles. The caller never responds to anything you say to them. These calls are all recordings and they are from an automated system. The calls are designed to disguise themselves so that they just look like normal traffic on the network. They are either anonymous or are listed under a random number. If you are given their number and call the phantom back you will simply be put through to that random number and the recipient will be unaware of how their number has been misused. Phantom calls are a money-making scam. They have been sent by fake telecom companies that have joined the toll-free number service. A toll-free number is not free; it's just that the end-user is not charged and the line carrier picks up the bill by reimbursing the company, usually in exchange for advertising or something. This is why people who are targeted by the phantom calls scam do not notice any excessive payments in their phone bill. This is very different from the older "divert-calls" scam where users' services were stealthily transferred to a premium rate line which they were then charged for without their knowledge. The automated system for phantom calls is designed to phone up a large number of people and make as much cash off the toll-free service as they can. To maximise charges to the carrier, the phantom call has to keep the targeted user on the line for as long as possible. This is why it includes material intended to arouse the target's curiosity. Strange sounds and speech for instance. Hopefully the target will spend several minutes listening and saying: "Hello?... Who is this?" a few times to tot up a healthy payment for the bogus company. This is far more effective than the so-called "dead call", an annoying but unfortunately legal method which some marketers and advertisers use simply to profile potential customers. That is where you just hear nothing but silence and therefore, naturally, put the phone down immediately. Phantom calls are all completely criminal of course and the police are cracking down on them, so phantom calls probably won't be a problem for much longer; I'm sure they'll eventually be replaced by another fraud. Source: and:

According to "Strangeries", @StrayedAway was probably just hit by a phantom caller. The strange message was simply intended to make him listen for as long as possible. This explanation might feasibly be correct, but there are several flaws in it. Firstly, the call was not picked up by Ty and it went to voicemail. The user was not actually on the line listening to the call live. Does this still count as a toll-free call? Would an automated system not be able to cut the connection when there was no answer? I'm not sure, but I'm doubtful; it seems to run contrary to common sense. The message also seems excessively elaborate for a phantom call. All it would have needed to do was keep Ty on the line. It could easily have grabbed his attention without the need to encode a real communication in the English phonetic alphabet, especially such a bizarre one. Live audio transliteration of the EPA is not easy for anything other than short strings. I have been trained to use the EPA because when I was a hospital porter I often communicated with other porters via a walkie-talkie. However for long texts I would need a pen and paper to decipher the longer strings of EPA letters and numbers. Including a meaningful EPA sentence in a phantom call would be completely superfluous. Why would the conmen behind it bother? I still think, as I did in the previous article above, that the most likely explanation for this mystery is that the Twitter voicemail was some kind of encoded communication from the world of espionage that was sent to @StrayedAway by mistake.

Dreaming Saucers Nexus Ad

I have published an advertisement for Dreaming Saucers in Nexus magazine. Nexus is a bi-monthly journal based in Australia that had over a million readers in twenty countries. It covers UFO's, conspiracy theories, the paranormal, alternative medicine and many more of the same subjects I cover on HPANWO. Needless to say I am a loyal subscriber. The ads are country-specific and in the UK the publications has around 66,000 regular readers. The British publisher of Nexus, Marcus Allen, will be a speaker at Dreaming Saucers, see: The advert is on page 24 of the current issue, Volume 25- Number 3 for April-May 2018. It is only a one-eighth page size, but it is eye-catching. It cost just £120 which is good value considering the journal's circulation. I've already had enquiries since the issue came out. I'm going to keep that slot after Dreaming Saucers and replace it with an ad for my book Roswell Rising, see: I will only need twelve sales per issue to make it worthwhile.

"Anti-Semitic" Mural

How does a piece of public art lead to the possible downfall of one of Britain's most senior statesmen? It sounds like a riddle and I'm sure it would baffle anybody just twenty years ago, but not in this current Orwellian age. Literally just days after being accused of being a Russian agent, Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the Labour Party and Her Majesty's Opposition, has been denounced as an anti-Semite. Being labelled an anti-Semite is incredibly easy these days if you're a UFO and ghost-believing tin foil hat-wearing conspiracy theorist like me, but it is still quite rare inside the pen of Corbyn's ideological community. The mural was put up in 2012 by the artist Kalen Ockerman, better known as "Mear One", see: It was called Freedom for Humanity and was painted on a wall in the heart of London's East End. It depicts a row of six elderly suited men sitting round a table which is covered by a board game that resembles Monopoly. The table has no legs and its top is supported on the backs of four naked and faceless seated human figures who are bent over completely. Behind them are a pile of loose cogs from a machine. In the background is a pair of smoking factory chimneys next to two objects that are either volcanoes or cooling towers from a power station. There is a network of lines behind them that look like chemtrails in the sky. On the left is a man carrying a placard in his right hand that says: "The New World Order is the enemy of humanity." His left hand is held aloft in a fist. On the right is a tired and sad-looking mother holding her baby. Above the scene is a rising sun framing a pyramid with a detached capstone containing the Eye of Providence. I think it is a magnificent artwork and deserves to be ranked among the great examples of political graffiti across the world, like those ingenious pieces from South America and Northern Ireland. It must have been a striking experience to walk down the street and see it. I was planning to take a trip to the location and film it for HPANWO TV while it was still there. Then I looked into the matter and I found out that it had already been obliterated in 2012, just three weeks after it had been finished. The borough council ordered the destruction of the painting on the grounds that it was "anti-Semitic!" Source:

The problem that has arisen today comes from all those years ago. Jeremy Corbyn originally spoke out against the removal of Freedom for Humanity. He told the artist he was "in good company" and compared the removal of the painting to the famous Man at the Crossroads fresco in New York City that was whitewashed by the Rockefellers for its Marxist iconography (It was happily recreated in Mexico at a later date). There is absolutely no suggestion at all that the six antagonistic figures in the painting were Jews. The artist himself denied it and the man on whose wall the mural was painted, a restaurant manager of Bangladeshi origin, said that two of the figures looked Indian, see source link above. The allegation is that the faces of the six evil men included generic Jewish features of the kind seen in propaganda from Nazi Germany. I don't see that myself; the faces are all very different. Two of them, the one of the far right and the one third from the left, look like old photographs of British colonial officials from the days of the Empire. The one on the far left has a full beard that is more typically Russian. The problem with the painting is most likely its conspiracy theoretical element. As I say in the background links below, there is a paranoid hypersensitivity when it comes to linking conspiracy theory of any kind to hatred of Jews. This serves a purpose for the people behind the conspiracy because it means their enemies are hampered by social degradation and marginalization. Therefore the conspirators eagerly encourage this public hysteria. However, in the background links I explain why it is, in the vast majority of cases, a false premise. The New World Order is caused by the Illuminati, not the Jews. I can't put it any simpler than that; there are no qualifiers to that statement. Corbyn was first pulled up by a Jewish MP, Luciana Berger, on Twitter (where else?). Corbyn backed down and about-turned. He said that Freedom for Humanity was "deeply disturbing" and he now "wholeheartedly supported its removal". He went on: "I sincerely regret that I did not look more closely at the image I was commenting on, the contents of which are deeply disturbing and anti-Semitic." As I've explained, the content of the mural is not anti-Semitic and there is information available to explain why that is in detail which I have produced myself. Corbyn should have known better than to believe that a grovelling public apology would save him from the standard and predictable hashtag barrage. It would have been better to stand his ground and fight the anti-Semitism premise altogether. If Mr Corbyn had approached me I would have coached him in this matter. The media lynch mob is currently in full swing; the torches and pitchforks are being passed round. Jewish welfare groups under the influence of the Israeli lobby have taken the bait hook, line and sinker. Corbyn is desperately trying to placate them, in vain. As I said, it's an exercise in futility. Source: This is just the latest in a series of attempts to discredit the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn by his Blairite opponents within the Labour Party. See here for details of the previous flare-up: The only real anti-Semitism in the Labour Party comes from the radicalized Muslims that the government have been breeding for the last few decades through their sponsorship of Saudi-run mega-mosques and their agents posing at popular media hate-preachers, see: Corbyn is actually very similar to Donald Trump. He would be deeply offended at my comparison, but I think it's accurate. He is a man in a political office whom the Deep State does not want in that role. They worked hard to keep him out of it. They have since wavered between trying to remove him and trying to manage the situation with him remaining as leader. Whenever the latter fails they try the former. Corbyn's career prospects are not looking rosy. A part of me thinks this is probably for the best; not because of Corbyn himself but because of the second echelon of Labour officials behind him, a posse of total blackguards who are currently trying to ride in his slipstream to their own positions of power. If Corbyn becomes Prime Minister then it will only be for a few months before there is an et tu Brute situation and then he'll be lying in the back benches with Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Diane Abbott's knives his back. At the same time, anything that the real "Evil Six!" from the painting do not want gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Thankfully the Jewish voice of reason has not gone silent in its hour of need. Jenny Manson of the Jewish Voice for Labour defended Corbyn and marvelled at the ingenuity of the media for smearing "the most passionate anti-racist campaigner of the last forty years" as "pro-racist and anti-Semitic." Source: I take my hat off to these people; they face abuse from other Jews for their stances. They were there for David Icke when he was in this position and I'm glad they are here again.

Was Jesus a Buddhist?

Jesus Christ is the most famous individual in the world apart from the four members of The Beatles; but for a man so widely known, his life is shrouded in mystery and conflicting information. He was born in what is today Israel at the turn of the BC/AD ages; "Before Christ" and Anno Domini- "in the year of our Lord". The reason all time is measured from that period is because of Jesus' birth. Popular awareness of his life story comes almost entirely from the New Testament, the fundamental text of Christianity. This was not written by Jesus or anybody who knew him; it is Greco-Roman and is often attributed to the Piso family, a part of Roman aristocracy who lived over three hundred years after Jesus died. This writing was not done until the Fourth Century when Christianity was becoming the established religion of the Roman world. It portrays Jesus as the son of God, the third part of the Holy Trinity, born to a virgin on the twenty-fifth of December. He had twelve followers and died to redeem the original sin of mankind. Three days after his burial he was raised from the dead. This is not an original idea; in fact Jesus is just the most recent of a dozen or more deities with all those attributes. They are symbolic of the annual cycle of the sun and a lot has been written about that. In modern times new texts have come to light that portray Jesus very differently, the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hamadi Gospel. The Jesus of those documents was a spiritual seeker and teacher. He was married to Mary Magdalene, who is mentioned in the mainstream Gospels as a fallen woman whom Jesus forgives. She then anoints his feet and wipes them with her hair. They may have had children and that led to the Rennes-le-Chateau mystery that has fallen out of fashion in the Conspirasphere somewhat, but is still valid in my view, see:

My parents are Roman Catholics and I used to be a believer, but now I am lapsed. I do not believe Jesus was the son of God, at least no more than anybody else is. He was not born to a virgin mother; he was conceived in the usual way and I expect Joseph was his father. The problem with the New Testament is that it says nothing at all about almost all of Jesus' life story. It begins with the Nativity, Jesus' birth in a stable in Bethlehem. Then there is one single scene from his childhood; when he is about five years old he gets separated from Mary and Joseph in the Temple of Jerusalem and when they find him he says: "How can I be lost in my father's house?" After that we hear nothing at all until he begins his ministry a few months before his death by crucifixion. By then he is in his early thirties; so what was he getting up to in the meantime? Theologians generally assume he was living an average life, helping Joseph in his carpenter's shop. That sounds rather boring, too boring to be true; and a new study agrees. The story begins in 1887 when a Russian doctor visited a Buddhist monastery in Kashmir, India. He found texts about a man who travelled there from the west called "Issa" and many of the monks knew all about him. He was identified as a prophet and a Buddha. We all know about Gautama Buddha, the man known worldwide as "the Buddha", but he was just one of many Buddhas. In the background article below you will see that Buddhas drop from the sky on a regular basis and, according to the Kashmiri monks, Jesus was one of them. This new study has been produced as a BBC television documentary. It adds that Jesus did not die on the cross in his early thirties, but instead he merely left Palestine and returned to India to begin a long career as a preacher. He visited the holy cities of Benares and Puri. He finally died at the age of eighty and is buried at the Roza Bal shrine in Srinagar. Source: This is to me a far more interesting and, indeed, respectful story about Jesus. Even as a child the official story of Christianity didn't make sense to me. It is shot through with logical and ethical flaws. Integrating these errors as an adult led to my becoming a lapsed Catholic. One thing I like about William Blake is his poem Jerusalem which gave lyrics to the beautiful hymn which some want to make the national anthem of England; it deserves to be. It tries to fill in Jesus' missing narrative by claiming that he visited Britain with his uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a travelling merchant. In the New Testament he also organizes Jesus' burial. "And did those feet in ancient times walk upon England's mountains green? And was the holy Lamb of God on England's pleasant pastures seen? And did the countenance divine shine forth upon our clouded hills?..." Jesus may have come to Britain to study the discipline of the druids, another sect of ancient wisdom. With these new revelations Jesus is looking more and more like a man filled with divine inspiration and a desire to learn, experience and share spiritual practice and knowledge. He travelled far and wide for his whole life to discover everything he could from the mystery schools of the world. Naturally orthodox Christians will be horrified by this new study, but really they have no cause to be. Far from debunking and denigrating their faith, the new study elevates it to a higher level. We now know that Jesus Christ was a far greater man than we ever knew before. I have watched that TV show and it is available on the source link above.

Strange Voicemail

Two days ago a man received a voicemail on his mobile phone that caused him enormous distress. He wrote on Twitter: "I really need you all to listen to this voicemail I just got. I am deactivating my cell phone service... I don't know why I was just sent military code. The fuck do I look like Liam Neeson!?" The voicemail features a robotic feminine voice, probably electronic, reading out a list of letters and numbers in the English phonetic alphabet. This is a method of communication when using voice radio that I myself had to learn at the hospital because the porters were issued with walkie-talkies. Because voice radio is lower quality than face-to-face conversation, words are used to signify letters so spelling mistakes are more avoidable. Each letter of the alphabet is represented by a word that begins with that letter: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta... X-ray, Yankee, Zulu etc. The message transliterates as: "SDANGERSOSITISDIREFORYOUTOEVACUTEBECAUTIOUSTHEYARENTHUMAN042933964230SOSDANGERSOS." When you skim that string of characters you may detect a number of words even though there are no word spaces. In fact the string is a message in English with some numbers. It reads thus: "S. Danger SOS. It is dire for you to evacuate. Be cautious; they are not human. 042933964230 SOS danger SOS." The message was sent from a hidden number. SOS stands for "save our souls"; in the phonetic alphabet this is a cry for help. The S at the start could indicate that the recording is on a continuous loop. The numbers are less comprehensive than the words and are open to interpretation. Some commentators think they might be GPS coordinates. If so then they designate a location on a remote forested riverbank in Gabon, a West African nation on the Gulf of Guinea. This is quite close to the island of Fernando Poo (today called Bioko) which is the centre of the fictional New World Order conspiracy in Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson's epic novel The Illuminatus! Trilogy. Some people have linked the numbers to the missing MH-370 airliner. Source:

The man who received the voicemail calls himself "Ty" on Twitter; his handle is: @strayedaway, see: (EDIT: This account has been deactivated, possibly by the user himself) He is absolutely terrified by what has happened and states that he has even thrown his mobile phone away. He believes he has been sent some secret military code by mistake and fears attention from the government security services. He claims that somebody photographed his house in the early hours of the morning just before he received his voicemail. He has since been sent messages, presumably on other media, in foreign languages; although these could be hoaxes by random people who have heard about his predicament. He does not enjoy being made a centre of attention for the UFO/paranormal/conspiracy theory movement and has even asked people to stop sending him direct messages about this matter. What makes this story credible for me is that I have followed "Ty" on Twitter and had a look through many more of his Tweets. His account is primarily one of leftist satirical comedy (Yes, such a thing exists!). He describes himself as: "I've got no two cents, no sense at all!... LGBTQ humour". He sounds like what is usually called these days a "social justice warrior" or "Antifa". I think he's American and a staunch liberal. There are lots of anti-Trump epithets on his feed. The thing is, belief in UFO/para/con subjects is virtually non-existent among people with those political leanings. He is definitely not the type of person to make up the story he has told. I have no doubt that the voicemail he received is real and his fear is not feigned. So what is the voicemail? Ty may well have been sent a clandestine government intelligence message by mistake, perhaps intended for an undercover spy or a hidden room in a foreign embassy. Before advanced modern communications these messages were conveyed on analogue radio channels and were known as "numbers stations". They could be picked up by a home radio set and were very similar in content to Ty's voicemail. They were often quite creepy and a few are still broadcasting, see: I remember finding one myself when I was a child. It simply repeated the letters "RYO" over and over again in Morse code. So what does Ty's voicemail mean? Leave aside the numbers; they could mean anything. The content of its words is alarming. It is an alert of danger and a call for assistance involving a hazard from something that is not human; but it might be mistaken for human by the recipient, hence the appeal for caution. This presumably refers to an intelligent entity; something extraterrestrial? It is impossible to know without more information. This is a breaking news story so there might be some more updates.

Kim Wilde sees UFO

Of all the low standard TV programmes of the present day, Loose Women is one of the most excretable. It combines shallow tabloid gossip-column mindlessness with malicious feminist hatemongering. It was launched around the same time the BBC banned all-male sports and political panels as part of their long and brutal march towards "Equality!" Its concept therefore smacks of vainglory. However, even in the filthiest dung heap a jewel can sometimes be found. Kim Wilde is quite a jewel. I admired her enormously as soon as I was old enough to think in those terms and she is still beautiful today at the age of fifty-seven. Her debut single Kids in America is virtually an anthem of my childhood. However since then she has revealed a hitherto private aspect of her life. On last Monday's episode of Loose Women she revealed that she had seen a UFO. Her sighting happened in 2009 when she had taken her son to hospital with suspected swine flu. She saw a bright light at the back of her house and went into the garden to look at it. She saw several lights that appeared to be chasing each other and part of a much larger structured object partly hidden by the clouds. She was not the only witness. Her husband saw it and went to look for a camera to film it, but couldn't find one. Many other people saw it. It even made the headlines of her local newspaper. She believes that aliens are "keeping an eye on us." She suspects that they are very disappointed with how we treat each other and the planet, understandably. This theme comes up in contact cases too. I wonder if Kim has had any but has forgotten them; or perhaps doesn't want to reveal them yet. Source: Well done to Kim Wilde for speaking out about her experience. It takes a lot of courage to talk openly about these matters when you are in the public gaze. She will no doubt be lampooned in the media novelty slots the same way Robbie Williams was, see background links below. I hate it when that happens and will do my best to defend people who are abused in that manner. I wish her all the best.

Love in the Conspirasphere

I have a good friend who regularly attends events on the UFO/paranormal/conspiracy theory circuit. He is in his late-sixties and recently got divorced after being married to his wife for about thirty years. He badly wants to start out again with a new relationship and has joined a dating agency. Unfortunately he has so far not had much success. He told me that on every date, things take a wrong turn when the subjects of interest, hobbies or personal ideas come up. He has to break the news to her that he believes in UFO's, ghosts, government cover-ups, Nessie etc... She looks away and starts fidgeting, and very soon makes an excuse to go home early, promising to call him another day... The problem is that the UFO/para/con community is something of a closed society. It is an exclusive but very marginalized club. Our fundamental notions of the world are so divergent to their conventional counterparts that it is very difficult indeed to find common ground with outsiders on a long term basis. This doesn't only count for partners, but family, work colleagues and friends. The singles industry is booming at the moment and among the rising number of services provided are specialized and themed dating agencies. Some are purely for people of a particular religion, income bracket, sexual taste etc who want to meet others who are like-minded. Now, finally, there are some emerging to cater for us. The official Awake Dating website looks fairly normal, see:, but the article about it in Vice describes it as an organization "caters exclusively for conspiracy theory-loving singletons... Most prefer to describe themselves as 'truthers' or the 'awake' because of the negative connotation around tinfoil-hatted conspiracy theorists in popular culture... Some are more into UFOlogy, some are into the 911/Sandy Hook/false flag events, some are into MKUltra and chemtrails. Then there are the flat-earthers and the Illuminati stuff; and the whole Pizzagate thing " One of their customers said: "It's a lonely thing to be a truther." Source: It's a good sign that there are enough of us in society to make such a business model viable. It reminds me of the last US Presidential election and Hillary Clinton's appeal to the "UFO vote", see:

I can't help noticing the Eye of Providence in the insignia of Awake Dating... I think I've thought of a new conspiracy theory! However there is an obstacle to finding a romantic relationship within the UFO/para/con community that no dating agency can help with, indeed it is completely insoluble. The significant majority of UFO/para/con enthusiasts happen to be white adult heterosexual males. You can see this demographic tendency simply by looking at the people who attend any conference on the scene. That is not a criticism; there's nothing wrong here that needs to be fixed. This fact is a result of essential human nature and biology. I have actually spoken out zealously against anybody who suggests forcing change within our community via social engineering. Such an action would be extraordinarily destructive; see here for more details: However, I am a white adult heterosexual male so therefore I understand the supply vs demand imbalance involved. I sympathize enormously with my friend. Of course if you are not a white adult heterosexual male then it's the opposite situation. The scene is a cornucopia and you have your pick! To answer the question that all readers by now are desperately wanting to ask me: No, I am not going to sign up for Awake Dating. Unlike my friend, I am not actively looking for a new relationship since I split up with Sue Ustane in 2016. Being single has many advantages as well as disadvantages. I did have a "truther soul mate" for eight years which, considering the odds, makes me extraordinarily lucky.

Institutional Russophobia

The globalist campaign against the biggest and most powerful nation currently defying their Illuminati lords and masters has taken a new twist. Last week a man and a woman were found unconscious on a bench outside a shopping centre in Salisbury and were taken to hospital. It was discovered that they had been deliberately poisoned. The area where they were found was sealed off and three policemen were also affected by the contamination, one of them seriously. The man is called Sergei Skripal and the woman is his daughter Yulia. Skripal used to be a colonel in the FSB, the Russian foreign counterintelligence agency, the post-Soviet successor to the infamous KGB. However he was actually working as a British mole. Double agents are a common tactic in espionage. The most famous example are probably Kim Philby, Guy Burgess, Anthony Blunt and Donald McClean, the "Cambridge spies". They were highly-placed British officials, but were really "deep throat" double agents passing information to the KGB. Skripal's cover was blown in 2010 and he was imprisoned for treason, but he was later pardoned and exchanged for ten Russian spies apprehended in the United States of America. The swap was reminiscent of the Powers-Abel exchange of 1960, a story told in the excellent film Bridge of Spies, see: Skripal moved to Britain and settled in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

After the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter the UK Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson has gone on the warpath, saying that this was an attempted assassination and that it was "quite likely" that Russia is behind it. He is now demanding an explanation from Russia. Source: On one level this is understandable. Russia has a long history of carrying out violent acts of retribution against its political dissidents. When the Cambridge spies defected in the 1950's they held press conferences in Moscow's grandest hotels and did interviews for the Evening Standard; but for those who travelled in the opposite direction it was very different. They had to go into hiding and couldn't leave their home without bodyguards because they knew Soviet intelligence would murder them. Indeed the KGB succeeded several times, most famously in 1940 with Leon Trotsky; he was hacked to death with an ice pick. These punitive hits did not end with the fall of the Soviet Union. The FSB killed one of its defectors in 2006, Alexander Litvinenko, again by poisoning and again in Britain. However with the case of Skripal there is no evidence that Russia had anything to do with it. It might be a reasonable assumption because of the victim's background and the modus operandi, but "quite likely" does not count as proof. Also Skripal is not a defector. He was pardoned and released through due process. He was living in Britain of his own free will and had permission to travel back to Russia whenever he wanted. Why would the Russian state carry out an assassination against somebody with whom it had no open charges against? The Russian ambassador is vehemently denying his country had anything to do with it. What if this was a false flag intended to frame Russia? If you look at the other examples of anti-Russian propaganda I document in the background links then it makes perfect sense to be suspicious.

Your Last Chance

When the troll crisis began in 2016 I could never have imagined how far it would go. I didn't think anybody would put up with it the way they have. That has been one of the biggest disappointments of my life. I am going to make one final appeal to whatever courage, rationality and decency still endures in the Truth movement. Please stop! I am not addressing the trolls themselves; that would be a waste of time. I am addressing the trolls' fellow travellers, appeasers, sycophants, fence-sitters and general hangers-on. The ones who pay lip-service to the Truth mobs with Facebook likes, turning the other cheek and one-sentence comments. You know who you are. Maybe what I am about to tell you will change your perspective. As I write these words I have just come off the phone to Miles Johnston. He is going to Belfast to attend the funeral of his elder sister Erica who died a few days ago. He is devastated by her loss. Nina Valentine made a lovely video called Miles Support, Prayers and Condolences; look at its like-dislike ratio and some of the comments: At the same time the trolls are continuing to make spiteful and deceitful videos, and other social media posts about Miles. Even with this bereavement in his immediate family, they are showing him no mercy. Look at yourselves, listen to what you are doing, or rather not doing. Why are you tolerating these people? Why are you not resisting them? Do you expect thanks from the trolls? Loyalty? Do you think they will not turn on you too without a second thought if the situation required it? If this new development doesn't stop you then nothing else will. This is your last chance to turn back from the abyss.

Fines for being Homeless

Several readers have contacted me to demand why I am not covering this subject. My correspondents seemed to regard this as a dereliction of duty and self-indulgence on my part. I was avoiding "really serious issues!" like this one and wasting my time on frivolities like UFO's and conspiracy theories etc. Not true. firstly, I have covered it; see the background links below. Secondly, UFO's and conspiracy theories etc are not frivolities; they are directly connected to the problems of human wellbeing, including homelessness. Oxford has more rough sleepers per-head than anywhere else in Britain outside London. I've noticed it getting worse in recent years. It's impossible to walk through the city, especially in the evening, without being approached by beggars, looking for money to pay for the charity shelter, The Gatehouse. There used to be a free dormitory run by the council which shut a few years ago, which of course explains why rough-sleeping has increased. The reaction by the city council to this has not been to reopen the dormitory, but instead to hire "civil enforcement officers" to walk round Oxford putting notices on homeless people's property and issue fines for repeat offenders; as if these people have money to pay the fines even if it wasn't an immoral attack. Source: How much do these enforcement officers cost to employ? Probably more than the dormitory did. It is not only insulting and dehumanizing, it is also totally impractical to treat homeless people as if they are some kind of wrongdoer. It is possible to clear fire exists without handing out penalty notices. Two hundred years ago there were workhouses in this country. How many poor souls did they have to lock up before the penny dropped that people are not homeless because they want to be; that it's some kind of lifestyle choice? The delusion has not gone away though, in fact it's making a comeback, and perhaps the dark shape of the workhouse roof could once again rise above the skylines of our declining industrial towns.

Roadside Picnic

Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky is a Russian science fiction novel written in 1971, but because of the bureaucracy and censorship laws of the Soviet Union it was not published for eight years. Even then it was brought out in such a heavily edited format that the authors hated it and released an improved edition in 1990 when the USSR was finally on its last legs. However in 1979 they worked with the acclaimed Russian film director Andrei Tarkovsky to produce a famous film, Stalker, loosely based on the book, that achieved international success. The story is set on earth in the present day during the aftermath of a very strange alien invasion. The brief arrival and immediate departure of extraterrestrial or interdimensional beings has left the world almost entirely unchanged except for a small area of the land surface a few miles across known as "the Zone". Within the Zone is a totally surreal environment. The very laws of reality are warped and causality no longer applies. Shadows fall the wrong way, objects appear and disappear, hot burning ash falls from cloudless skies and there are anomalous gravitational fields that can twist a human body into a coil. Anybody who even lives near the edge of the Zone finds strange things happening in their life; mental health problems, their children becoming mute or growing hair on their bodies, the corpses of their deceased relatives being animated as undead zombies. The Zone is an extremely dangerous place and everybody who lived there had to been evacuated. There are only a few people who dare to enter the Zone and these are known as "stalkers". The stalkers do what they do because they can earn a lot of money by finding alien artefacts and selling them on the black market or to the government and scientific institutes. These artefacts are all bizarre objects that have a variety of applications. "Sparks" make good jewellery, "death lanterns" are weapons and have been bought up by the military industrial complex. "Hell slime" is extremely toxic and ended up shutting down an entire laboratory when it escaped from its container. However the ultimate prize of the stalkers is to retrieve a legendary "golden ball" that is said to grant wishes like the genie in the lamp. Adam Curtis brings up the subject of Roadside Picnic in his latest documentary, Hypernormalization, see: See here for my review:

There are several interesting themes in Roadside Picnic. The most interesting part is a long dialogue between two of the characters, Richard Noonan and a scientist called Valentine Pillman. It reveals the same points that I've made about an extraterrestrial intelligence; that we should not anthropomorphize it when speculating what it might be like. We don't know whether the aliens will think like we do. It could be that communication with them might be impossible. What if the aliens are so much more intelligent than we are that we are to them as an insect is to us? Valentine suggests that the visitation by aliens that led to the formation of the Zone might be completely accidental and that they are oblivious to the effect it has had on humans and our planet. He compares it to how insects and other small animals might respond to the debris left behind on the verge of a road after a picnic; food wrappers, tin cans, a lost children's toy etc. These items are incomprehensible to the animals. Some of them might be useful, especially if there is residual food in the wrappers; some of them might be dangerous, but the animals will never understand them. What's more this litter is not a gift from the humans who had the picnic; nor is it a deliberate attempt to harm the animals. It is a completely accidental and arbitrary occurrence. This humbling vision of our place in the universe may eventually prove to be the most accurate. The free energy element also comes into the story. One of the most beneficial treasures salvaged by the stalkers is a small portable machine called a "spacell" ("so-so" in the original translation). This cannot be back-engineered by human scientists, but it can be made to reproduce itself. A spacell can be plugged into an electrical or mechanical device of any kind and it provides free, unlimited, clean and safe power for it. In one scene Richard Noonan drives his car by plugging a spacell into a socket on the dashboard. The aliens who caused the Zone to emerge are never identified and play no part at all in the plot. It appears nobody knows who they are or where they came from. There's a distinct sense of interdimensionality to them rather than extraterrestrial, although this concept was not en vogue with science fiction when the book was written. It could simply be my subjective interpretation. Some of the properties of the Zone remind me of the strange case of "Mel's Hole", a subject which will require an article of its own in the future, see here for some of the Coast to Coast programmes about it: The scenario also reminds me of the possibility of something "going wrong" at CERN and creating problems; I've covered that before, see the background links. Messing about with the walls between parallel universes is potentially very destructive. Roadside Picnic is one of the most fascinating sci-fi stories I've ever read. The ending is very abrupt and feels truncated, but it's still well worth reading. See:

Marcus Allen at Dreaming Saucers

I'm sorry to report that Miles Johnston has had to cancel his appearance at the Dreaming Saucers conference in Oxford. However we have in his place another fascinating speaker, Marcus Allen. Marcus is the UK publisher of Nexus magazine, one of the most successful of the journals that cover conspiratorial, spiritual and paranormal matters. Marcus is also a researcher who specializes in space exploration, see: He has been a guest on the HPANWO Show many times, for example see: His lecture at Dreaming Saucers will be entitled Apollo Moon Landings - Fact or Fiction?

Dreaming Saucers will take place on the 12th and 13th of May. Doors open 10 AM both days. The venue is: The White House (not a joke!), 38 Abingdon Road, Oxford, OX1-4PD. There is a car park at the venue, but if it's full you can always drop your vehicle at Redbridge Park and Ride a mile down the road. From there you can walk or catch the number 300 bus to the venue. The venue is also less than a mile from Oxford railway station and Oxford coach station.

Hampstead Truth Mobbing

Theo van Gogh was a Dutch film director who made a documentary called Submission which was critical of Islamic theocratic regimes. In 2004 he was shot and stabbed to death by a Muslim extremist in a frenzied attack on a busy Amsterdam street in front of dozens of horrified passers-by. The killer decided to murder van Gogh as punishment for blasphemy. According to the witnesses, van Gogh's last words were directed at his assailant and they were: "Can't we talk about this?" Can't we talk about this? Surely that is a reasonable request in any civilization built on logic and calm discourse, as ours is supposed to be. But the answer is always a resounding: "No!" Sadly the same barbarism can be found within the society supposedly fighting to improve the quality of life for people around the world, especially children. Nobody has been shot or stabbed in the Truth movement... yet. I do wonder though if such a crime could eventually happen. Unbelievable a fourth front has now opened up in this league of loathing which is behind my recent troll attacks. The latest belligerent to join the "Hate Ben Coalition" is Sheva Burton, somebody I once interviewed on HPANWO Radio, see: The reason she has turned against me is because I interviewed Angela Power-Disney too, see:

The background to this conflict is extremely nebulous, but it concerns the Hampstead child abuse scandal which Angela and I bring up in the interview. As I explain in the interview, this is an issue into which I came in late and by the time I had, those who believed it and those who considered it a hoax had already diverged into a pair of warring factions. It was like walking in on a barroom brawl and expecting somebody to explain to you how the fight started. I merely posted on one of Belinda McKenzie's videos about Hampstead: "Hi Belinda. How are you?" This is because Belinda is an old friend and I haven't seen her for a while. We have disagreed vehemently on some matters but we are today on fairly good terms. The result was that I received a broadside of insults in response from the "Hoaxstead" tendency. When Sheva Burton posted this video:, I felt deeply annoyed at Sheva's ignorance, impulsiveness and prejudice, so I posted in the comments box: "Hi Sheva. I don't agree that what Belinda and Angela have said is a hoax. I stand by what I said about Hollie Greig, but this is something different. I hope that clarifies my position for you." I assumed we could then enter into a debate over the evidence for or against the Hampstead case, but instead Sheva responded: "Yes, Ben.  It clarifies that you happily support liars, scammers, frauds and despicable protectors of child rapists, molesters, and those who share images of child abuse, too. Thank you." So from that I gathered Sheva was not interested in entering into an intellectual discussion. There was no point replying so I simply blocked her. Once again, we have a Truth mob. I no longer feel shocked when these tedious and petty little comments-box-conflicts break out; however I really do wish it would stop. Are there not more important issues at stake? We have truly hit peak-troll and this climax shows no sign of decreasing. I was having an email conversation on this matter with somebody and was lamenting about all the meaningless infighting that has poisoned the UFO/paranormal/conspiracy theory community and he told me: "I'm afraid that's just human nature." If this is true then it means it is human nature for us inevitably to enter the New World Order. We have somehow evolved a suicide gene in our DNA. This is a terrible reality for me to face, if it is indeed reality. It would mean that everything I've done with HPANWO has been a waste of time. I hope it is not reality.
