Third Epstein File Release

 

The latest batch of file releases related to Jeffrey Epstein has been completed. They reveal some shocking information, especially relating to the nonce formerly known as Prince. The figurehead of this new bombshell is Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor kneeling on a floor looking up at the camera. The camera flash is reflected in his eyes and he is dressed casually in jeans and a white shirt. Lying on the floor beneath him is a young woman whose face has been redacted. She is lying flat on her back and looks as if she's unconscious. It's difficult to know for sure what is going on here. Maybe she fainted and Andrew is taking care of her until the ambulance arrives... but knowing what we do about this scandal I suspect something more sinister is afoot. There's nothing to reveal in what situation the photo was taken, but there are emails between Andrew and Epstein discussing an upcoming dinner party in London in which Andrew was to be introduced to a Russian lady, aged twenty-six; too old for Jeffrey obviously. They're dated 2010 so there's no doubt Andrew and Epstein remained friends following his conviction. Andrew's ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, also seemed to be very chummy with Epstein. She called him her "dear spectacular and special friend" when she emailed him while on a flight involving a layover in Florida; and she invited him to take tea with her. This was in 2009, just a year after Epstein had been sleeping in prison overnight for trafficking teenage girls. The former Duchess of York has declined to comment. A new name that has popped up, without much shock on my part, is Peter Lord Mandelson. Mandelson was a long-sitting cabinet Minister under Tony Blair, an EU Commissioner before Brexit and was appointed Britain's Ambassador to the United States by Keir Starmer. Probably you can guess by now that he's not a very nice guy; in fact his nickname is "Prince of Darkness" because of his ghoulish demeanour and evil gaze. He was expelled when it was revealed that he sent supportive messages to Jeffrey Epstein. Now we find out it was much worse than that. Epstein sent Lord Mandelson money, £10,000 in fact. This was allegedly for an "osteopathy course"; which is an odd thing for a financier to fund for somebody else. Epstein also invited Elon Musk to one of his "parties" on the island. Musk replied enthusiastically, but never ended up attending. Some embarrassing documents have also emerged that may be email drafts involving Bill Gates. Gloria Allred, a solicitor representing Epstein's victims, in unhappy with the latest file release. She thinks some of her clients' names were published illicitly and not redacted, contravening data protection practice. She was assured by the US Department of Justice that this would not happen. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been cleared by the Metropolitan Police, but the FBI still have suspicions and want to interview him.
 
This is, almost inevitably, not the end of the story. US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who has managed the publication, said that the DOJ has fulfilled its duty under the directive ordered by President Trump; "it's job over!" Gloria Allred disagrees and she is not alone. Questions are being asked by congresspeople who have calculated that two-and-a-half million files remain classified. As I've said previously, Trump's own rhetoric on this matter has become so diluted compared to what he said during his first couple of months in office that I wonder what has changed. I also worry that this cover-up is going on because the authorities have decided the truth is too horrible to tell. This a direct parallel to the UFO truth embargo; but what if the secrets relating to children are even worse? I have long suspected that they are. Brendan left the campus and rode back into central Rockville. In doing so he realized something that he had noticed subconsciously on his journey out, but it had not registered at the time. There was very little traffic on the roads, even for a public holiday. He passed an occasional car, but far fewer than normal; and there were no buses or lorries. When he arrived back in town he saw a group of people standing on a street corner. They were clustered close together outside the door of a solicitors' office. Brendan thought there was something wrong about their posture. He slowed down to listen to their voices. They were all weeping. Their heads were bowed, they were covering their face with their hands and they wailed pitifully together. Brendan pedalled harder and sped away from them, feeling afraid for some reason. He turned his bicycle onto Park Road and followed it under the railway bridge into a residential district. He then spotted four people sitting in a front garden outside a house; three men and five women. They were crouched on the grass crying. Brendan was so surprised that he pulled up by the kerb and stared. The people didn't notice him; they never looked up. They stayed where they were, half-sitting on the grass with tears dropping from their noses. Brendan rode on. Less than a minute later he passed an old man walking down a lane crying openly. Then he saw a married couple whom he knew by sight, but whose names he couldn't remember. They were also weeping profusely. Brendan was unnerved so he headed home as quickly as he could. On the way he encountered a number of other people all in tears. It was as if the entire town had turned into one big funeral. When he got home he left his bicycle in the garage and entered his home. "Mom, dad, are you there?" He walked into the lounge and saw his mother and father hunched forward on the settee watching television. "Mom, dad, why is everybody crying...?" His words caught in his throat as he saw tears in his parents' eyes. They were clutching each other's hands as if seeking support from each other. His eyes moved to the TV screen where a narrator was speaking in a sombre voice: "...the true magnitude of what has been done for more years than we currently know..." His mother leaped for the TV remote control in a panic and almost threw herself on top of it. The screen went blank. She got to her feet and faced her son, her face trembling. "Brendan, go to your room now."
    "Why? What's going on?" Brendan asked as a very half-hearted interrogation. He knew he had no choice but to obey. As he reached the top of the stairs he heard her bark behind him: "Wait!" She ran up the stairs and pushed past him into his bedroom and came out carrying his personal computer.
    He reached out for it. "Oh no, mom!"
    "Go to bed!" she responded in a tremulous voice and pointed at the door.
    "It's only four o'clock!"
    She slammed the door of his bedroom behind him as soon as he was inside.
    He passed an anxious evening reading his books, cut off from the outside world... The following morning Brendan awoke while it was still dark outside. He poked his head out of his bedroom and heard somebody moving about downstairs. He descended to the kitchen and saw his father sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal... "Morning, dad." said Brendan.
    His father looked up sharply... "Hello, son." he said breathlessly. "It's only six-thirty. What are you doing up this early?"
    He shrugged. "Because I went to bed early I guess."
    His father chuckled sadly. "We can't keep you in bed forever can we?"
    "What's going on, dad?"
    He sighed tremulously. "Sit down, Bren."
    Brendan poured himself a glass of orange juice from the fridge and took his place on a stool opposite his father.
    "We didn't want to expose you to what's happened. It's too horrible. The reason I'm up so early is I'm heading into DC to deal with it. I've got a meeting with Jack scheduled for eight AM."
    Brendan felt adrenalin surge through his body. His father looked genuinely perturbed, more so than he had ever done before. "What's going on, dad? Why was everybody crying yesterday?"
    "Jack told the country something awful yesterday afternoon, some really bad news. He's been holding it back for a long time; keeping it secret, just like in the old days... He never even told me. I was pissed off at first, but now I understand why. I know why Jack made sure nobody could know; and anyway he's told the nation now."
    "Told the nation what?"
    His father bowed his head and raised his hands to his brow, as if experiencing a headache. "It's... it's all to do with children."
    "What about children, dad?"
    "Before R-Day... in fact even before Saucer Day, the government kept children prisoner. Some were children taken away from their moms and dads; some were children who never had a mom or dad; and..." he shuddered. "And the government did some really cruel things to them."
    "Like what?"

Is it really that bad? If so, are we ever going to be told willingly? How can the authorities really prepare us for this? They can't exactly acclimatize us with Hollywood movies. I think some form of unauthorized exposure akin to catastrophic Disclosure may be the only solution.

Volonaut Airbike vs Anti-G

There has been an interesting update on the supposed Grebennikov antigravity platform. A much more recent and better quality video has emerged showing a similar vehicle. This demonstration film of the aircraft, called a Volonaut Airbike, shows it being started up by its pilot and then taken for a test flight. This short film copies the style and format of the earlier video almost exactly, shot-by-shot, as if it were a remake. The craft takes off and flies at a low altitude through a forest canopy and across some hilly grassland. However, there is a manifest difference. The Volonaut Airbike is very obviously lifted by a vertical jet engine. We know that because we see the results of its downdraft, the tree branches being disturbed as if by wind, leaves falling off, ground litter being blown up into the air. The implications are, of course, that, as I said in my own analysis at the time, we see no such effect with the earlier video; even though the craft in that video is supposedly propelled the same way. To my mind, it seems almost as if this is some kind of very subtle whistle-blowing. Did the producers of the Volonaut video see the original and design their own with the same style to reveal the truth about the original? Probably not, and it is just me projecting my own will. Either way, this new revelation makes it far more likely that the older Russian video does indeed show an antigravity vehicle being put through its paces.

Trump 2- One Year On

 

Today it is just over a year since Donald Trump was inaugurated as President of the United States for a very unusual second non-consecutive term. It was a moment of such hope for reasons I explain in the background link below. A few people were even calling it "Freedom Day". As you can see from the publications I've made since, it hasn't quite worked out that way. I came across a show by Stefan Molyneux where he claims Trump's first year has actually not been too bad. Trump has actually honoured most of his manifesto pledges. He made twenty core promises and he's completed five, a quarter; therefore with four years altogether he is exactly on schedule. This is a particularly difficult task in the USA in which the president's power is deliberately limited by the system. He has made progress on eight of them and therefore ten are left unmoved; half of them with three quarters of his stint ahead of him. He has U-turned on none at all. He has retuned the US to the world's primary energy producer, based on some of his first executive orders. Stefan doesn't mention this, but he has also made a deal with a fusion energy company which is extraordinary, see: https://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.com/2026/01/third-rail-radio-programme-232.html. He has cancelled the electric vehicle rollout, which is similar to Britain's very Orwellian Net Zero policy. He has sought to stop schools teaching the extremely malevolent "critical race theory", see: https://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2021/08/political-correctness-portal.html. He has made huge progress in securing the southern land border with Mexico. Trump has made full use of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement service to deport illegal migrants. These crackdowns have caused controversy for being so heavy-handed and this culminated with the shooting of Renee Good, a motorist in Minneapolis. They have also been accused of splitting up families, wrongfully arresting and detaining people, falsely imprisoning citizens, bullying detainees and other human rights abuses. This means Trump is not pursuing a humane methodology of incentives to repatriation, which is completely possible. He has tried to boost the economy and make the US more competitive with foreign industries. He has cut tax for low paid workers; relief on tips for example; he fully implemented that as early as June. He has attempted to stop citizens being persecuted by the government for expressing opinions. This is a massive problem in my own country and so I'm happy that our transatlantic cousins are set free of it. He has worked to stop election fraud. He is trying to iron out the problems the military has; but for what purpose will he use force? He has blocked the rise in retirement age. If Moly's analysis is correct, that is fairly good going. If you compare that record to almost any other democratic leader then it's almost unprecedented success. However, look at what is missing. There are so many things Donald Trump needed to do and has not. These vital responsibilities are necessary to break the cycle of endless uniparty leaders simply replacing each other over and over again. Even though it wasn't an official undertaking, he charged into his election campaign promising vocally to go hard-line on the Epstein files and so many other emerging bombshells. To begin with it looked hopeful; he set up his federal secrets taskforce, but what has it achieved? Next to nothing. His position on the Middle East is pretty much indistinguishable from every one of his predecessors since Lyndon Johnson. He has not made moves to change America's relationship with Israel, which has always been continuous, unconditional support, opulent aid and donations of armaments. He has also not attempted to cut arms sales to the other side in the region. He has not seriously backed up the pro-democracy movement in Iran. I've always said that Islamist regimes are useful to the globalists. In his first term Trump stopped the CIA supporting them in Syria; why has he weakened so much on this issue? Despite Stefan Molyneux's optimism, Trump's second term has so far developed into a depressing anticlimax. Regardless of what he has achieved that has shifted the dial slightly, the full revolutionary offensives he needed to make, and make quickly, have not happened and show no signs of doing so in the foreseeable future. The Attorney General Pam Bondi has cited "national security" as a reason for stalling on Epstein. Why? Moly seems to think it's because they are simply scared of what is known in UFOlogy as "ontological shock". He compares it to extracting people from the Matrix. He also believes there are unprecedented legal issues being churned around which could take years. He doesn't say so, but I sense that Stef thinks the government's reticence is therefore justified. I don't think it is. I know what the backslappers will say in reply to me, that Trump was always a bad guy and they "worked it out!" while I have been "naiiiiiiiiive!" That's not true. I know so because I have been debating this issue with them since 2015. The backslappers have simply guessed right. Then again, who knows what is going to happen in the future. Trump is only one year in and has three years to go. However, if he's going to turn this ship around he has some very sharp manoeuvres to carry out and he needs to start very soon. Jim Ledwith was somebody I had a long and pleasant conversation with, along with his wife Cathy, on the Thursday night before the Contact in the Desert conference started. Area 51 Dorito

 

Uncanny Expeditions is a YouTube channel presented by somebody called Anders who posts regular videos about the goings on at Area 51. Like many people, including me, he is intrigued about that secretive military installation. The "Area 51 watchers" are so common now that they are a kind of genre on the platform. I've mentioned Joerg Arnu before, see background link below; in fact there is a video on the Dreamland Resort channel featuring an interview between Anders and Joerg. In a recent video Anders heads out into the desert in his white converted school bus which he calls "Janet"... of course. Inside it is like a campervan with everything he needs to live and work in that remote area. When night falls he goes out for a skywatch and captures something amazing. At about one AM he spots a B2 Spirit bomber. Its triangular plan is easily discernable because of the wedge shapes on its trailing edge and its double contrails. Later, at about three AM he saw another aircraft that superficially resembled the B2, but a closer look revealed it to be something totally different. It was also triangular, but more equilateral than the Spirit and also with a flat trailing edge. It left behind a single contrail. He nicknames this the "Dorito", a common moniker for flying triangle UFO's. This is the latest in a series of images captured by photographers of an unknown triangular craft. These are either manmade craft with exotic propulsion or extraterrestrial vehicles. I'm talking about objects that are obviously aeroplanes, flying with aerofoil action and having more conventional engines. It turns out Joerg also picked up some unusual communications with his radio scanner. Some of it used codewords or was digitally encrypted. It's likely these Dorito sightings are of some new military aircraft that is still classified. I would also include the "North Sea flying triangle", see: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/oil-rig-engineer-sketches-secret-us-spy-aircraft-1563429.html. This could be the aircraft codenamed "Aurora". Maybe it is the one that lives in the mysterious new hangar at Groom Lake or the one for which some airspace was closed a few years ago. This project might be declassified at some point. There was a time when the B2 was equally covert.

Menzies-Lyth Rides

 

What you see above is a very strange image. It looks like a very old advertisement poster, from the 19th century maybe; or possibly a classic book cover. We see mountainous scenery with a large moon behind. It is reminiscent of an old novel about military action in the Himalayas during the days of the Empire. We see two humanoid figures with strange heads. The centrepiece is a bizarre four legged creature. Its head has a lion's mane and it's carrying something on its back that looks like a row of railways carriages. The illustration has text on it: Menzies-Lyth Rides Ltd. 100% certified Tavistock approved service. Hop on board bitches!!! You may think this makes no sense, but it does to me. It refers to Isabel Menzies-Lyth, one of the founders of the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations, the world's biggest psychological warfare institution. Marcus Allen Dies

 

Marcus Allen 1942-2026

I'm sad to report that Marcus Allen has passed away. I first came across Marcus in 1997 on Jon Ronson's For The Love Of... a "late-night settee discussion" TV series. Marcus appeared on it a knowledgeable and eloquent man with long brown hair. He spoke with much confidence about a highly unusual and controversial subject. I began reading the magazine he published, Nexus, and since then I've barely missed an issue. I first met Marcus in 2006 at the Probe conference where he had his magazine stall and we had a good conversation. That conversation has really never stopped. I've interviewed Marcus many times, for example see: https://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.com/2022/12/programme-488-podcast-apollo-17.html. He was an essential team member of the Apollo Detectives, for example see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2025/03/apollo-detectives-14.html. I think that was the last time I talked to him. In this modern world of trolls, flame wars and "pwnage!", Marcus' manner was a breath of fresh air. He was always calm, polite and rational, even when debating his most ardent critics. That is a rare gift. He never showed a moment of fear, even when surrounded by enemies. I'll never forget his courageous decision to take on the BIS, see: https://www.aulis.com/allen_bis.htm. Marcus was not young and I knew I'd have to say goodbye to him at some point before long, but his death was still a shock and has saddened me enormously. He was a precious friend and comrade and I'll really miss him. Despite that, Marcus was confident about the existence of the afterlife, as am I; so I hope he has moved on to somewhere nice, which is what he deserves. We may even meet again one day. Take Aliens to the Bank!

 

The term "UFO crash" might take on a whole new meaning if the latest report by a financial pundit is correct. Helen McCaw spent ten years at the Bank of England serving as a financial security analyst. She has recently sent a letter to the governor of the Bank, Andrew Bailey, warning him that the financial system must be prepared for the impact of ET Disclosure. That's odd because skeptics have been telling us for years that if real aliens made contact it would be no big deal. I'm inclined to trust a banker rather than a skepper because if the skepper gets it wrong their livelihood is not threatened. What Ms McCaw is referring to is of course what we in UFOlogy call "ontological shock". She fears it could trigger a stock market crash and a new depression, with the resulting effects of unemployment, industrial recession and civil unrest. She envisages all the usual tropes of long queues at the petrol station, soup kitchens and trolleys full of toilet paper. She heeds the banking sector not to "dismiss talk of alien life and snigger about 'little green men'." She was never previously interested in UFO's until she began following the post-2017 new Disclosure movement. She is writing a chapter all about it for a book edited by Dr Alex Wendt, an expert on international security at Ohio State University. I wonder if they'd like me to write ones of the others! There is obviously a burgeoning awareness that something serious is going on. Ironically, what Ms McCaw fears could be just what the financial doctor ordered, at least, according to Paul Krugman. The Nobel Prize-winning economist recently announced that an alien invasion could be the perfect solution to economic slowdown because it would cause fiscal stimulus, encouraging the government to engage in more regulation and splash out on spending, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2020/10/alien-invasion-to-save-economy.html. The Bank of England have not commented, but it wouldn't surprise me if they have taken on board what McCaw has said; and she's probably not the only one. However, like all the upheavals that Disclosure would cause, this one can also be overcome; and what lies on the other side of that barrier would make the effort worthwhile. Maintaining the Truth Embargo for much longer would be many times worse. When the day of Disclosure happens, especially if it is official and willing Disclosure, it will take place on a Friday afternoon after the stock markets have all closed so that the world has the entire weekend to get their heads round it before the doors of Wall Street and the Square Mile reopen the following Monday morning. Dark Alliance- The Next Generation

 

Darcy Weir is somebody I've known for a number of years. He is a prolific young documentary filmmaker from Canada who has covered many of the same subjects that I have and I've interviewed him numerous times, for example: https://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.com/2023/05/hpanwo-show-507-podcast-darcy-weir.html. He's also a fellow member of the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance, see: https://www.hollywooddisclosurealliance.org/darcy-weir. During the course of his career he has been through a few phases of interest into different elements of the esoteric world, but his latest period is one I did not expect. He has made two documentaries about what he believes is fraud and disinformation within the UFO community. This concerns him seeing as he is not a skeptic and realizes that there is a reality to the phenomenon that lies behind this deception. The second in this series, Dark Alliance- The Next Generation, carries on from where the first one left off, critically examining the claims of a number of people who have told extraordinary stories about their involvement with ET races and the secret space programme. These include some very well-known names on the conference circuit and alternative media; some of whom I've met and even worked with. Among them are people who declare themselves to be supersoldiers, ET-human hybrids, secret agents, officers in an unacknowledged space force, contactees, time travellers and even keepers of aliens who look like giant blue birds. We've heard from this contingent that there are secret bases on Mars where there are special beds that when you lie in them it can heal any sickness or even return you to your youth. Darcy and his colleague Kari Lindsay interview some of them, editing in some special effects and humour. It turns out that many of these ideas are not original. It was organized by Dani Henderson, somebody I met at the recent Bases Project conference, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2025/12/secret-space-disclosure-bases-2025.html. There was a skywatch on the seafront during the night and they saw a group of objects fly overhead. A MUFON investigator examined the data and explained these as a flock of geese. I know this was also supposedly what the 1951 "Lubbock lights" were; and they were not. The Lubbock lights were more like the Phoenix lights. Despite this the MUFON conclusion is quite likely to be true. You can even see the birds' wings flapping. This resulted in a massive online troll attack against MUFON and the individual involved. Dani also retrospectively withdrew her permission to be in the documentary after Darcy interviewed her.
 
I have always been annoyed by the people I call "backslappers", those who focus obsessively on internally policing the UFO-paranormal-conspiracy theoretical community, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2025/01/andrew-has-questions.html. A lot of them are a lot worse than the people they lambaste. There is virtually a cottage industry of these types and their numbers are growing. That being said however, there is a definitely a legitimate role for cleaning house. There are some very dishonest and avaricious people in the UFO world who tell falsehoods and make money from it. I personally do not believe that med-beds, age regression or blue chickens are real. If people are claiming that they are real and drawing all the attention and resources of the community as a result, then that is a problem; therefore Darcy is doing nothing wrong by addressing that. I don't think he is a backslapper; he does not have the right personality. I think he is motivated by genuine concerns. There is a large overlap between the nonsense claims and the serious research. Gary McKinnon is often cited as exposing the existence of "Solar Warden", a secret space fleet established to protect the earth from hostile aliens. This is not true. Gary did describe seeing evidence for something similar, but it was not literally Solar Warden. This blending of fact and fantasy is a hindrance for the subject because it causes confusion and scorn. Dark Alliance- The Next Generation, features an interview with Steven Cambian in a way he has never shown himself before, outside his studio and without his sunglasses. You can clearly see his squint caused by the haemorrhagic stroke he suffered a few years ago, which he talks about openly. It somehow makes him seem gentler and more likeable. I've been very critical of Cambian in the past and have defended some of the people he attacks; however, others among his targets clearly do deserve it. At the same time though, UFOlogy does involve serious research into phenomena that are very strange indeed, but are genuine and studied in a serious manner; indeed Darcy has addressed this in his other films. As I said, I don't believe in the nonsense any more than Darcy does, but some of the real discoveries come across to the ear as really no less bizarre. For example, Darcy interviews Dr Michael Salla whom he is very critical of, and I also find some of Salla's work way over the top. Despite this Michael Salla has made the world aware of some other issues that I do think we should take seriously, such as the strange educational practice of schoolchildren being taught about crash-retrievals, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2024/02/another-fake-school-roswell.html. So I commend Dr Michael Salla for scoops like that. All he needs to do is stick to the real stuff and stay away from the drivel. Despite the fact that UFO "wackadoos" to use Cambian's phrase, are inspired by science fiction; sometimes the opposite is true also. Close Encounters of the Third Kind was designed with the help of J Allen Hynek and there are many other examples. We do ourselves no favours by assuming anything that sounds like the nonsense has to be nonsense. Is there evidence for it? That's the vital question that sorts the wheat from the chaff. This exchange led Darcy to suspect there is some kind of psychological operation going on. He does not give much detail and I suspect he may be planning a third instalment in his movie series in which he will, but I am familiar with this concept. Some iterations of it are actually quite fashionable, especially the one that says aliens are some kind of engineered neo-mythology created as psychological warfare to launder more down-to-earth covert projects like experimental spy planes etc. I find that rather implausible. Drawing somebody's attention towards something with the ultimate objective of deflecting it away is a very risky gambit that could easily and badly backfire. In my view, what we are dealing with is actually some sort of very elaborate double-bluff. But we'll see what Darcy's future adventures reveal. Dark Alliance- The Next Generation is currently only available on Apple TV, but it is for a reasonable price in my country. The government have announced that Digital ID will no longer be mandatory, only voluntary. This is a major retreat from their previous hard-line position; and I'm pleased to say they have cancelled other unpopular policies too, such as those intended to make farmers' and pub landlords' lives a misery. This is a major battle won, but we must not get complacent; Starmer has not given up yet. Digital ID is not being scrapped! I've a feeling they will try to sneak in a rule to make it compulsory after the voluntary version has been rolled out. The infrastructure must not be put in place at all. This means we must not let out guard down; I'm still attending the next big demonstration against digital ID in April. The Starmer regime is under a mandate from the global Deep State and so will not go quietly. Look at the way they want to ban Twitter (I can't bear to call it "X"!). As Elon Musk himself has said, this is nothing more than an excuse. Users have responded with a new meme, Getting Grok to make pictures of Keir Starmer wearing a bikini and there are thousands of them. We should feel encouraged by the way this struggle is turning out. We are definitely on the winning side; and we will continue to win so long as we continue fighting.

Lidl Butlerian Jihad

 

I don't normally shop at Lidl. I go to Tesco because it just happens to be on my usual route. The no-frills German supermarket chain usually escapes my attention, but yesterday I was doing an extra job in an area I don't often visit and needed some groceries. If you've never shopped at Lidl then it's an interesting experience. On the plus side, most items are a bit cheaper than Tesco's. It also sells clothes, hardware and children's toys. However, when I went into the store I had to pass through a turnstile that only opened one way, meaning I couldn't go back. I was like a particle trapped inside the event horizon of a black hole. The only way was forward. This could have been a problem if I'd decided not to buy anything. Can I get out if so? I only needed one item which I selected and then went to the checkout. As I explain in the background articles below, I always refuse to pay via the auto-checkout; if necessary I will ask the staff to open a regular one for me. In this situation I decided to break that rule because I was in a rush to catch a bus, one that only goes once an hour to my destination outside Oxford. There was only one manned till open and it had a long queue. I'm not proud of myself, but the circumstances were exceptional. Because I'm not used to using those machines I made lots of mistakes and needed help from a member of staff. Its artificial voice told me to put my item in the bagging area; I did so and it responded by telling me to do so again. A gaslighting computer! Eventually I was allowed to pay, not with cash of course, and took my item towards the exit. As I approached the door I saw another turnstile. I assumed this would simply open and let me out, now that I had done my duty and bought something; but the thing wouldn't open. I was confused and then saw a sign that told me to scan my receipt. I panicked; did I still have it!? Thankfully yes I did; I had showed it into my back pocket where I always put my rubbish between litter bins. Good job I hadn't just left it behind; I don't normally take shopping receipts for something as minor as groceries. There was a barcode on it that I had to scan before the turnstile finally slid back and I was a free man. Despite the attraction of its low prices I don't think I'll go back there again unless I have to. The process of shopping in Lidl is rather like sheep dipping. The customers are corralled in via a one way passage and then not allowed out except via a second controlled gate. What would have happened if I'd not bought anything? "Could somebody let me out please?"... "No! You have to stay now!" As I walked sombrely towards the bus stop I recalled Heathcote Williams' poem Advertisement, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YB8PXY6m1w. The poem was published in 1978 and this recitation is from 1980. I wonder what the author would think about the supermarkets of the 21st century. I went back to my usual Tesco shop today and described my Lidl experience to a member of staff, asking whether Tesco had any plans to introduce this system. "Not as far as I know." she replied. We'll see. If they do, the Butlerian Jihad will have to escalate.

The Tragedy & The Triumph Tour

 

There will be another Oxford walking tour hosted by Mark Devlin and myself. It will be themed on Mark's allegorical novel trilogy. He is about to publish the third and concluding book, The Tragedy & The Triumph. We will be visiting many of the locations featured in the story. Erich von Däniken Dies

 

I'm sorry to report that Erich von Däniken has died. Erich was born in Bern, Switzerland in 1935 and ran a hotel before he developed an interest in UFO's and ancient mysteries. After travelling around the world examining ancient monuments he came up with a hypothesis that combined the two. Early in our history and prehistory our ancestors had experienced open contact with an extraterrestrial intelligence. These aliens taught us all kinds of technology and helped us construct the world's first civilizations. The evidence for this can be found in their ancient stone structures, as well as their artwork and mythology. He wrote the book Chariots of the Gods in 1968 which I found in my school library when I was about eleven or twelve; and it fascinated me. Erich went on to write numerous more books and founded a theme park. He took part in numerous film and television documentaries and appeared at alternative conferences globally. His work inspired many other researchers and, in more recent times, the TV series Ancient Aliens. I met Erich once in 2022 at the Chariots of the Gods Awakening Expo in Blackpool, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2022/06/a-streetcar-named-starr-gate.html. I find a lot of Erich's theories very dubious. Many of the anomalies he noticed can be explained by the presence of a prehistoric human civilization; and so I'm more on Graham Hancock's side. However, nobody can deny that Erich widened the Overton window considerably when it comes to all kinds of new and esoteric ideas both within alternative archaeology and associated fields of study; such as UFOlogy, the Disclosure movement and historical conspiracy. Like Hancock, Erich was subjected to the most bitter and enraged opposition from academia. Erich von Däniken passed away aged ninety on Saturday at Interlaken in his native Switzerland. The tenacious John Greenewald Jr has published the results of one of his Freedom-of-Information Act requests. This time he is not seeking one of his classic leads on UFO's, he has asked the Central Intelligence Agency what it knows about 3I/Atlas. I expect John did this merely as a routine, or in response to a demand from some of his supporters, rather than something he is curious about as a priority. However, what he uncovered as a result is breathtaking and totally upends our perception of the interstellar object, this supposed "just a comet". The Agency replied on New Year's Eve: "We completed a thorough review of your request and determined that... the CIA can neither confirm nor deny the existence or non-existence of such records responsive to your request. The fact of the existence or non-existence of such records is itself currently and properly classified, and its intelligence and methods information protected from disclosure... Therefore your request is denied." John is of course appealing. The CIA cite a number of statutes and an executive order leading to the conclusion that this is what is known as a "Glomar response". It is the most extreme FOIA exemption of all. It refers to a 1974 operation codenamed "Project Azorian" in which the CIA raised the wreck of a sunken Soviet nuclear missile submarine. It is one of the most secret operations ever carried out by US intelligence. That means that the CIA's position on 3I/Atlas is equally restricted. This is astounding! Totally different to what John and other FOIA experts were expecting. Normally the agency would reply that it had no records on the subject, after all 3I is just an astronomical curiosity, is it not? Back in 1996 John filed a FOIA on the comet Hale-Bopp to the Defence Intelligence Agency and received a redacted document and a statement that some records within the remit of the request did not exist; but the DIA did acknowledge that it had an ongoing study. The redactions were actually simply due to the concern about releasing information that could reveal the capabilities of its reconnaissance satellites. I think this proves that the government knows more than it is telling us about 3I/Atlas; or it at least shares the concerns we have about it, that it might be a spaceship. To have issued a Glomar response it is clear they are treating it as a major national security threat. Avi Loeb believes they are taking precautions just in case. The skeptics, from NASA to the Facebook groups, keep insisting we're dealing with nothing more than a lump of rock, but that line is starting to sound more and more dubious. What will happen when it reaches Jupiter in March? It is on the perfect course to enter the planet's orbit, or maybe drop off some kind of cargo. The big question will be what if it does just that? It seems the CIA are asking that question too.

Digital ID Debate Unlisted

Despite the fact the government has honoured its commitment to debate the digital ID proposal, something strange happened soon afterwards. Like all YouTube livestreams, the videos from the UK Parliament channel have to process after the end of the stream into recordings. During that time the livestream was still visible, I watched it myself; but as soon as that processing was complete the video was quietly unlisted. This is not the same as deletion or privatization; the video is still on the platform and can still be watched, but it cannot be found by searching. It also will not appear on the channel catalogue if somebody goes there. This means unless a user has the URL in their history or via a share etc, they cannot see the video. This has never been done before with a parliamentary debate video, ever. Obviously thousands of people contacted the channel demanding to know why this had happened. The government responded by claiming that the status of the video was set to unlisted by accident and that they have since corrected the error. It has indeed now been reset to public. I don't believe that it was an accident. The debate was a terrible embarrassment for the Starmer regime. As I said in the background article, the MP's seriously went off-script. They're just not allowed to do that. When you look at this issue holistically with other matters it's obvious they tried to stop people watching the debate because they're planning what is essentially a coup d'état. They've been delaying local elections, supposedly because of "council shake-ups". A large number in 2025 were delayed to the current year and the mayoral elections might be pushed back to 2027. I'm in Trouble Again- Upping the Ante

To welcome in the New Year I've had another poison pen letter from PA Media Group, not long after the last one. This latest one is manifestly more severe in tone. Once again I was not addressed by name; it starts merely with: "To whom it may concern". As usual there was no signature. Along with the familiar flannel, it added: "It is imperative that you address it immediately. Failure to do so will result in us escalating this matter to our legal team to evaluate litigation options. Your continued inaction on this pressing issue is concerning. Let us once again be clear: If this infringement is not addressed promptly, it will lead to legal action, which would undoubtedly result in considerably higher costs for you. This is our final outreach in goodwill. Our hope was, and remains, that legal proceedings can be avoided. By acquiring the licence, you can rectify this situation. Please understand that while you may not hear from us in the near future, this matter remains unresolved, and the case will stay open whilst our Legal Counsel considers our next steps." It's interesting that this was sent to me on Christmas Day, so obviously nobody was in the office and it was an automated system. It makes me wonder how many humans have been involved in this process so far, if any. Is "Adam" even a real person? The next thing I will receive will probably be a series of formal demands; and, eventually, a court summons. I thank the readers for the interesting series of comments and their advice under the background article. I will be addressing these points in future publications; it is not the right time yet.
