Larry Warren was On Duty

David Young has produced a new video. Actually he produces new videos all the time, but all of them are of very poor quality so I don't bother mentioning them. This one, however, requires a response; not because it is any better than his usual low standards, but because he makes a factual claim that must be either confirmed or discredited. David has made contact with a man called Donald Laisure who was in the US Air Force and served at RAF Bentwaters-Woodbridge during the period when the Rendlesham Forest Incident happened in December 1980. His job was the armourer, the man who guarded and catalogued weapons and ammunition. He issued them to the personnel when they came on duty and stored them again in the armoury when they went off duty. As a result, he got to know the security police very well; including all of "D Flight", the shift Larry Warren was assigned to. The reason David has interviewed him is because Mr Laisure claims that Larry was never assigned to the shift at all. This is a matter that has been brought up before by Larry's detractors; they claim that Larry is a "Walter Mitty" who has simply made up the story of his UFO experience. I don't think this is true, for the reasons I state in the background links below, however David thinks otherwise because Mr Laisure says that he knew all the men of D Flight and does not remember Larry being one of them. He has provided David with a photograph of a group of about thirty airmen posing, and they say that Larry is not among them. Donald claims that this is a photo of D Flight and that some of the other names that come up in the story can be seen in the image, although the scan of the print is a bit blurred and it's hard to recognize all the faces in it. There is actually a man in the second row, one from the left, who does resemble the other photos I've seen of Larry in his youth. David and Donald then try something that the anti-Larry Warren trolls have already totally failed at, by their own admission; handwriting analysis, see:  https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2017/05/the-larry-warren-controversy-part-13.html. Despite their previous embarrassing blunder, we once again are told that Larry has faked the documents he has presented as evidence that he was present to witness the UFO incident that night. David this time pins all his hopes on the possibility that Larry forged the signature of his shift supervisor, Senior Master Sergeant Lee Swain. The two samples of Swain's signature that they provide don't look all that different to two separate samples of my own signature, or most other people's; and bear in mind, as I said the background link above, that they are not using the actual document, just copies of it. David and Donald also refer to a second document, a duty roster for March of 1981 for D Flight, although they do not show it on camera. Donald reckons that if Larry had been assigned to that shift then his name would have been on that roster and it was not. However, the owner of that document is not Donald Laisure; it is a man called Tim Egercic. Tim was a roommate of Don's at the Bentwaters dorms and so knew him well. He has already submitted the document to research into the testimony of Jim Penniston. He says that the roster does not prove that Larry was never assigned to D Flight at all. He also doubts that Don could remember so certainly that Larry was not there after forty years. Tim also mentions that there were two armourers on duty during the changing of the guard and there is no certainty that Don would have handled Larry's weapon issue. Remember that Larry was only on active guard duty for a few days. At the end of the video David tells us that more is coming... I'm sure it is and I look forward to it!
