The Amazon Whale

A humpback whale has been found dead. I have a particularly soft spot for whales and dolphins, see background links, so this story distressed me a lot; but the circumstances involved are mysterious and so worth investigating dispassionately. The whale was not found floating in the sea or lying on a beach; it was discovered in the Amazon jungle. The whale was only about a year old and was 26 feet long; smaller than a fully grown animal. It was close to the sea, 49 feet from the shore of Marajo island off the coast of Brazil; but still nobody can explain how it got there. Some claim that recent high tides might have deposited the corpse there; however there appears to be no sign of flooding at the location. The trees have not been displaced. The body is lying directly on top of dry earth and not embedded in solidified mud. Also humpback whales do not usually visit the sea around Marajo at that time of year. Some biologists have examined the whale and believe it might have swallowed plastic litter, sadly an all-too-common cause of death for marine megafauna. This does not explain what it was doing in the South Atlantic Ocean or how it ended up inland among mangrove trees. I wonder if there is a UFO connection. As this disturbing documentary shows, aliens seem to have an inexplicable and lethal interest in terrestrial life forms. All species are targeted, farm livestock, pets, wild beasts and aquatic mammals, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=halJR2-FuYM. (And I do mean all species, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6E_67F87gpk.) Could this poor whale be the latest victim? There is another reason to wonder. The incident with the whale took place near Araruna beach which is in the Amazon delta on a river directly opposite the town of Colares. In 1977 Colares experienced a UFO flap that was officially investigated by the Brazilian government. They called it "Operation Saucer". Could there be a connection? For some reason that I don't know, Brazil seems to experience more than its fair share of the most gruesome and malevolent aspects of the UFO phenomenon.
