What a Week in UFOlogy!

 

It's difficult to know where to start when it comes to the current situation with UFO Disclosure. It began with Representative Eric Burlison, the basest Congressman of all, doing an interview on Newmax about the mysterious and legendary "UFO too big to move" first mentioned by Ross Coulthart. Burlison says he knows about it but wouldn't say where it is. Greer says there is one in South Korea, whether it's the same one or not, nobody knows except him and Ross; but there is possibly more than one. Greer thinks there's at least one in the USA, in Oklahoma. But it didn't end there, not at all! Then former US President Barack Obama was interviewed by Brian Tyler Cohen when he was asked: "Are aliens real?" He answered: "They're real, but I haven't seen them and they're not being kept in Area 51. There's no underground facility, unless there's an enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States." Well, yeah! They do that! Obama later amended the comment and tried to undo the scandal he'd caused by simply saying the words "they're real." I didn't think Obama's statement was as revealing as most other people did, but then President Trump addressed Obama's comments to a reporter: "He gave classified information and he's not supposed to be doing that. He made a big mistake... I don't know if they're real or not. I don't have an opinion on it, but a lot of people do." And then he said something extraordinary. "I might get him out of a lot of trouble by declassifying it." At first I thought Trump's gripe might be that his predecessor uttered the name of Area 51, but since the Frost lawsuit that hasn't been so much of an issue, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2013/08/area-51-revealed.html. Mick West explained this as Trump making a joke. Strange how skeppers never say anybody is joking when they dismiss UFO's as non-existent or unimportant. How convenient! Then, this morning Trump posted the following Truth: "Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters. Could this be the actual Disclosure with a capital D moment? It's hard to be sure right now and I don't want to build false hope. This could be just another six-page AARO job with black redacted boxes all over it. Strangely enough we have had warning tremours about this already. Despite all this discourse and speculation, we don't have any firm details. We have a commitment from the Chief Executive to release "any and all... information", but nothing more. We don't know when he plans to do it, although the dates, May the 1st and July the 8th, Roswell day, have been suggested. Although Lee thinks it might happen at any time. Trump might be preparing his team right now. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested. The former prince and brother of the reigning monarch is currently in a police cell using a toilet with no paper and eating tasteless beef curry out of a box with a cardboard scoop. No doubt he'll be wishing he really did dine out at Pizza Express. I want to be the first one to say... Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor did NOT kill himself. "Who said that, Ben?" I hear you ask. Well, the entire mainstream media in a few months time probably. Unless, this really is the moment when the house of cards falls. The most evil conspiracy of them all is finally going to be exposed. The King has given a public statement: "I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all. Charles R." Interesting that at no time does he refer to Andrew as his brother or as somebody in his family. Did the former prince expect loyalty? The police have said: "As part of the investigation, we have today (19/2) arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office and are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk. The man remains in police custody at this time. We will not be naming the arrested man, as per national guidance. Please also remember that this case is now active so care should be taken with any publication to avoid being in contempt of court... Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office. It is important that we protect the integrity and objectivity of our investigation as we work with our partners to investigate this alleged offence. We understand the significant public interest in this case, and we will provide updates at the appropriate time." The offence named "misconduct in public office" sounds rather staid, like a minor white collar misdemeanour, but it is in fact a serious felony and can result in prison for life. In years past he might have been hanged. Yes, HMCR3 may end up turning the key on his own brother "at his pleasure" as the saying goes. I don't know what will come of this; it's too soon to tell. This is breaking news, but more will emerge in time. All that is certain is that the status quo of cover-up and denial has vanished, and that can only be a good thing. God protect our children!

Basketball Glitches

 

When I was at school I played all kinds of sports, but the one I ended up specializing in was basketball. Basketball played well is a great spectator sport; it has an almost dance like aesthetic to it. Therefore I was very interested to come across a series of highly strange videos that seem to record mysterious incidents during basketball games. These anomalies are far more extreme than the curling mystery I wrote about recently. That is merely a scientific conundrum, one with a probable mundane solution, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2026/02/curling-mystery.html. These basketball irregularities appear to defy the very workings of the world itself. In some cases the ball seems to vanish out of one player's hands and then reappear in another's. There are several scenes of players moving together in exactly the same way as if synchronized by something controlling them all. This could be a coincidence, yet other bizarre events are less easy to explain. In one, a player takes a long pass and charges down the court. In order to intercept the ball one of his arms appears to expand unnaturally in length. It works because he scores seconds later. There's another which appears to be during a training routine in which a player moves to catch a pass and jumps at the basket for a dunk. In order to control the ball properly his hand vastly increases in size. His fingers appear to grow suddenly to twice their normal length. Despite this he cannot quite hit the height and slams the ball to the floor. One of the video uploaders seems to think this is because he noticed himself and was alarmed, or concerned other people might see it. I'm not sure about that. These are not AI student projects. They are clips from official sports channels' coverage of games in the National Basketball Association, the top league in the world. Players involved are household names like LeBron James and Draymond Green. It's difficult to explain these strange incidents in mundane terms seeing as they are very clear and unmistakable. They are obviously abnormal and the evidence is widely available from mainstream sources. In basketball fandom the word "glitch" is sometimes used to mean any fluke shot or unpredictable outcome without a paranormal element, but the in this case the word refers to something very different; changes in the fundamental nature of reality, like in the film The Matrix. Do these basketball players have knowing supernatural powers? If so then they must be engaged in a widespread conspiracy of silence because none of them show any surprise when these warps occur. The thousands of spectators watching also don't seem to notice. The alarm has been raised purely by people watching at home on television, usually on recordings some time afterwards. Are these just strange electronic visual effects or errors in transmission? If so then you'd expect it to be obvious from the rest of the programme. You'd see breaks in the transmission. However, some of this footage is HD and when you look at the background and surroundings, they scroll smoothly. I'm baffled by this and don't know what's going on here. Nothing like this ever happened to me when I played basketball as a teenager. It could be that the mental concentration of ten men high on adrenalin and endorphins somehow alters the projection of reality from its source; if we really are in a simulation, shadows on the wall of Plato's cave. The idea that the universe is an illusion is a big and complicated one, but I'll include some resources along those lines in the background links below.

Curling Mystery

 

I'm very "into" the Winter Olympic Games this year. One of the most entertaining and interesting events that I've been following closely is curling. Curling is a sport that originates in Scotland and is similar in rules to bowls or pétanque. Traditionally it's played on a frozen pond although usually, for safety reasons, it is takes place on an ice rink. It is a team sport and each team consists of at least two people. The first is a "thrower" who slides the stone across the ice towards the target, called a "house". The thrower can select an arc trajectory or straight line by spinning the stone. The stone can then also be steered by the "sweeper", a second player who rubs the ice ahead of the stone very hard with a special tool called a "broom" although it is different from the one used to clean floors. This changes the lubrication of the ice and can alter the stone's course and speed. Opponent sweepers are always on standby to sweep your stones if they are knocked towards a lower scoring area of the house. This makes curling more complicated and dynamic than bowls, along with the fact that it also tends to be played by younger people. Despite the fierce competition in a vital tournament like the 2026 Winter Olympics there tends to be a lot of goodwill sportsmanship in curling that is similar to cricket. You might wonder why I'm writing about this subject; what is HPANWO-esque about curling? Well, strangely enough there is a major mystery in the sport. Nobody knows exactly what makes the stones move the way they do. Their rotation defies what scientists think they understand about the forces of momentum and friction. The stone arcs in the opposite direction to what it should based on its spin orientation. Despite many studies and experiments, the secret endures. There are a few theories; and these have a lot to do with some of the very tightly controlled rules of the game. The ice is not completely smooth. A groundsman... or whatever the equivalent is for an ice rink, sprays it with water droplets in a very skilled way to create a slightly rough or corrugated surface. The stones themselves weigh exactly 44 lb and are made of a very unique type of rock. For most major competitions, the rock comes from just one location, an island off the coast of Scotland called Ailsa Craig. The rock is called "common green microgranite". It is a rare, exceptionally dense material with a unique, tightly interlocked molecular structure. Alternatively it could be something to do with the ice consistency or the action of the sweepers. What curling teaches us is that the unexplained is actually not rare and it appears almost constantly in our universe. Disclosure Day Second Trailer

 

A new trailer has dropped for Disclosure Day two months after the initial teaser. It premiered at the Superbowl yesterday, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2025/12/disclosure-day.html. This new trailer is shorter, one minute only. Despite that it contains a lot more dialogue and information. It repeats a few shots from the earlier trailer, but has mostly new ones. It begins again in a TV studio, but this time a different newsreader is delivering a bulletin about the threat to release "government material long shrouded in secrecy." At the same time you see people doing something with a laptop and a new character played by Eve Hewson says: "Are they... people!?" "No!" replies Josh O'Connor's character. There is an action scene that reminds me very much of another of Steven Spielberg's films, one of his early works, an excellent psychological thriller called Duel, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhehxH25GGA. A car crashes into a moving freight train. Then we hear the first words from Colin Firth's character: "If you do this, there's no undoing it." This is followed by a cryptic shot of Josh O Connor's and Emily Blunt's characters with EEG transducers stuck to their heads, indicating that they're being subjected to some kind of experiment or medical treatment. "There will be no other day like tomorrow." says Colman Domingo's character and then we see an amazing vista of some kind of ET spaceship flying through a cloudy sky. It is either pushing through the clouds or is giving off smoke. It looks like a classic saucer and there's a similar effect in Independence Day. Somebody has got hold of some secret information about aliens and plans to tell the world; what's known as "catastrophic Disclosure". The action scenes, together with the police raid in the first trailer, indicate that the government is trying to stop them. Since the last trailer there has been some supposition that Disclosure Day is set in the same universe as Close Encounters of the Third Kind. It could be that some of the characters are the same, maybe the children in the earlier film who have grown up. It's easy to forget that Close Encounters does not end with any kind of public revelation. After the aliens land by Devil's Tower they simply take off again with their human passengers and the film just ends. If you were an ordinary person living in that universe at the time all you would find out is that there had been a successful public health operation in Wyoming and that the toxic gas had been cleaned up. Also many people have noticed that the house in the first trailer looks exactly like Jillian and Barry's house, although the former is presumably just scenery because a car crashes right through it. There's a rumour that CE3 is going to be re-released in cinemas as a prelude to the Disclosure Day premier. If so I'll make a weekend of it! I predict that we're all going to be disappointed by Disclosure Day, not because it's going to be a bad movie, but because our hopes for it are so high. We often judge works of art by measuring them against our expectations. This is why the Star Wars prequels and The Matrix sequels had such lukewarm reviews. When I watch Spielberg's new film I will try to do so without those biases so I can simply enjoy it for what it is.

MH370 Search Postponed

The search did resume. Armada 8605 has spent twenty-three of the fifty-five days Ocean Infinity agreed with the Malaysian government. Not all that time was spent at the 7th Arc searching though. Those days include the trip to Fremantle for refuelling and victualing, which takes about five days. The team also lost a couple of days due to bad weather. Today it was announced that the ship will not return to the MH370 search area. Instead it has been dispatched to Pago Pago in American Samoa. This is disappointing news and I'm sure the families are very distressed by it. The decision was made because of a bad weather forecast. The sub-Antarctic seas are called the "Roaring Forties" for a reason. Storms can spring up suddenly from nowhere and be very severe. The ship needs fairly calm seas to launch and retrieve its AUV's. OI have simply decided to use their ship for another task until the bad weather clears and will then probably send it back to the 7th Arc. Alternatively they might dispatch a different ship. OI called the missing airliner "unfinished business" and are determined to find it. The government have nothing to lose because they agreed to this no-find-no-fee deal. Obviously Jeff and Ashton believe the search cannot succeed because they're looking in completely the wrong place. I tend to agree with Ashton, but who knows what the truth really is? Right now there's no cause to think OI will not continue the mission and end up completing the fifty-five day pledge, probably longer if they make a breakthrough. However, as they say in Game of Thrones, winter is coming. By the end of May the weather will deteriorate to the point where any operation will be impossible. If they fail to locate the wreck by then, will they resume in the spring?

American Sasquatch

 

There is a huge amount of information available about the Bigfoot mystery; books, documentaries, websites, social media pages etc. Thousands of people dedicate their lives to searching for it in the wilderness, including some personal friends of mine. David Paulides' new film is very original because it breaks the assumption that all Bigfoot encounters are cryptozoological phenomena, simply the presence of an unknown animal. Paulides is best known for his investigations into mysterious disappearances of people, the "Missing 411" works, but he has always had an interest in Bigfoot, what he calls more often by its Amerindian name Sasquatch. He has always tried to find connections between different mysteries, such as UFO's and missing people in his previous movie, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjVrcpPT1kY. In this new production he looks for the link between Bigfoot and the paranormal. I was as surprised as he clearly was when I first found out, but such a connection definitely exists, at least in some instances. David interviews numerous people who have seen Bigfoot, but at the same time have seen UFO's, orbs, and other strange occurrences. Of course, the paranormal happens also in the absence of Bigfoot, but it's surely not just a coincidence when the two mysteries independently manifest together so often. What's more a very recurrent phenomenon is when portals appear in the air and Bigfoots walk out of them, demonstrating a direct link. This happened most famously at Skinwalker Ranch and David includes an interview in the film with Colm Kelleher, the leading NIDS researcher into that location. Sometimes Bigfoots just appear and disappear into think air. Strangely enough, another researcher called Adam Davies also encountered a flying rod of light like Ron did, but this time the phenomenon was far more dramatic and frightening. David reports that spooky things happened to the crew while they were making the film. They saw UFO's above the trees and orbs. Sometimes their equipment inexplicably failed. Along with Bigfoot, sometimes humanoids are encountered that appear translucent, semi-transparent yet distorted. Witnesses have compared them to the creature in the film Predator that uses a cloaking device to bypass light rays around itself and so making itself partly invisible. The ideas in this film have triggered a controversy in the Bigfoot research community not unlike the one in UFOlogy between the "nuts and bolts" vs the "high strangeness" tendencies. In my view these two models are not mutually exclusive. As with UFO's and ghosts we may be dealing with more than one phenomenon that we have generically categorized into a single one by mistake. There's no doubt Bigfoot is a physical being. It leaves footprints and specimens like hair, and it has DNA. It can be seen, heard, smelled and even touched. It may well have a higher level of intelligence than its recognized simian cousins. I think some Bigfoots are genuine and literal cryptids. There are too many sightings of it without anything else weird attached; but there is an adjacent phenomenon that resembles it, but is actually not it. It comes under what Jonathan Downes (the go-to author on this subject I think) called "zooform phenomena". Such beings are a bit like the cases of aliens that look very human, sometimes indistinguishable from ordinary people, but are in fact not human nor from the earth. If there is an overlap between this mysterious creature and aliens then that could be a reason why. Representative Tim Burchett is featured as well, and he is currently best known for his stance on ending UAP secrecy. He makes the same point very perceptively. American Sasquatch is well worth a watch, whether you agree or disagree. Even skeptics might like it because at the start it appears to debunk a very famous recent piece of Bigfoot footage. You can get in on Amazon. Its rental price in only about two thirds of the purchase fee, so you might as well buy it. Like all movies, you can get more out of it by watching it more than once.

Hospice Exorcist

 

Hospitals are some of the most likely places to be haunted. Parapsychologists often say this is because the huge amount of fear, pain and death within their walls generates a psychic energetic atmosphere more conducive to ghosts. I've covered this possibility many times over the years, inspired by my own twenty-three years of service as a hospital porter, see the links below. Over the years there have been many news stories that have proved my point, but this latest one really takes the biscuit. Staff at a hospice in Norwich have been so troubled by ghostly phenomena that they have arranged to have the building exorcised. A hospice is a hospital that provides palliative care, treatment for those who are terminally ill; painkillers, other procedures to ease symptoms and generate a calm and caring environment. This does not include euthanasia in my country. The Priscilla Bacon Lodge is part of the Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust and so is a serious mainstream public institution. Exorcism is the spiritual practice of healing a person or place said to be possessed by a malevolent supernatural entity. It was popularized by the famous 1973 horror movie The Exorcist. Management at the hospice say there are concerns about "paranormal incidents" especially regular sighting of a young girl in a red dress who seems to be a phantom. According to leaked emails, Priscilla Bacon Lodge has been writing to the local bishop asking for advice and help from a "deliverance" team. The hospice's chaplain will join them in carrying out a blessing of the building to expel whatever darkness lurks within. I hope it works. The cause of all this paranormal activity could be nothing to do with the building itself, but its location. It was erected on the site of a children's hospital which was demolished and its facilities moved to a new site. No wonder the ghost seen there is of a child. What really surprises me, knowing how the NHS works from the inside, is how the management are acting openly and straightforwardly on this very unusual matter. I'm truly surprised they would risk it. Sadly in today's healthcare world a service provider can be discharged for so much as breathing at the wrong volume; and the higher up the hierarchy you are, of course, the easier it is to get rid of you. The fact that the admin at the Priscilla Bacon Lodge are risking that fate means that something serious and immediate must be going on. The paranormal unrest must be considerable. When the media asked further questions about what staff and patients had witnessed the trust declined to comment.
