A webcam just outside Area 51 has picked up a huge pall of
smoke rising up from the secret base. A recording captured at 5.53 PM local
time yesterday, 1.53 AM BST, shows it clearly against the landscape close to
Rachel, a small town on the Extraterrestrial Highway, about as close as you can
get to the secret facility on public land. This must be caused by some kind of
fire. At the time of writing the fire appears to have been extinguished, 7.53 AM
local time. It won't be possible to know how long it burned for until the
livestream has ended and we can watch the recording. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n712ODRAdOw.
There are no reports in the news at all about this, as per usual when it comes
to Area 51. Kudos to the amateur intelligence gatherers who live in the
locality and make the effort to disseminate this information; I met a few of
them once, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2023/11/meadows.html.
What caused the fire is currently a mystery. People online are joking that it
was in the warehouse where the Epstein files are kept. My guess is that it is
some kind of accident, probably a very serious one to have caused such a big
fire. Annie Jacobsen describes several historical incidents like this in her
book Area 51- An Uncensored History of
America's Top Secret Military Base. In some cases these disasters happened
decades ago and she is the first person to share them with the public. It may
be equally long before we find out what happened on this occasion. Possibly an
experimental aircraft has crashed or some of its fuel has leaked and caught
fire. Perhaps the aliens have been attempting a jailbreak to rescue their
imprisoned compatriots. Sadly if there are any causalities then we will most
likely never know their names and there will be no memorials. The relatives of
the deceased will receive a visit from some government bigwig offering his
condolences and telling them their loved one gave their life in the service of
their country. The family may be able to guess their fate to a certain extent
if they know roughly in what capacity their relative worked; for example, if
they were a pilot or engineer or scientist etc. Area 51 has its own fire
fighting team. It also has an on-site hospital and paramedic squad. They never
call the local fire brigade or ambulance service. Best wishes to anybody who
was affected by this eventuality, whether human or ET.

Thanks for posting this Ben, I would not otherwise have known about it. It seems to have been put out now but must have been sizeable when your thumbnail image was captured, given the apparent distance from the webcam.
You're welcome, MT. Yes, no sign of it now. Hope nobody was hurt.
I expect the area to be absolutely crawling with agents of hostile powers. If they can get a drone up into the smoke and get a sample, then it could be analysed and its unoxidised state could be worked out. If they know what the burning fuel(?) was, then they could probably work out what sort of speed and altitude the craft that uses it is capable of. I expect there to be some extra fires of camouflaging chemicals being set deliberately.
It would be interesting to hear Michael Schratts thoughts on it.
Love hpanwo btw👍
Thanks, UFOnaut. I loved your old podcast too. I'm sure Michael will be onto this one and I'll be curious to see his take too. It could be that some of these aircraft use exotic fuel that could be toxic. Maybe that's what killed Robert Frost and his colleagues. I hope the people nearby don't get ill. Thing is, if that smoke does have a detrimental effect on the environment or public health, there's nothing anybody can do about it, or it's extremely difficult.
