Vegetable Shortage

I'm one of these lucky people who actually quite likes healthy food. I don't have to force down my "five a day"; I do so with gusto. Most of my meals are salad-based. However, I've noticed that almost all shops are running low on stocks and it's been in the news that there is an official shortage of fresh vegetables. Salad veg has been hit the worst, including iceberg lettuce, my personal favourite, cucumbers and celery. The cause of this has been bad weather in the Mediterranean region from where Britain imports most of these products. Spain has had record rainfalls that have destroyed millions of acres of farmland and Italy has seen some of their lowest ever temperatures, very heavy snowfall and a lack of sunlight. Ian R Crane Tweeted something very interesting last night; could this vegetable shortage trigger a call for more genetically modified crops? It's apt timing that this has come about just after I saw Mark Lynas at Oxford Skeptics in the Pub. The obvious solution to the vegetable crisis is to have back up markets and source the produce from multiple locations... but no! That's far too simple. We need mutant life forms to consume instead. It also gives an excuse for new general food regulations. Indeed a few supermarket chains are rationing their effected vegetables. The Larry Warren Controversy- Part 6

The term "Warrengate" has caught on in social media and I must accept full blame for that. Apologies; I should have kept my mouth shut. Whatever name you choose to give this melee, it has escalated considerably since the previous article in this series. Larry Warren has sent Sacha Christie and her three closest collaborators a cease-and-desist notice, similar to the one I drafted for Trystan Swale, but have never had to send, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2016/08/trystan-swale-and-my-perceived-racism.html. Larry distributed copies of the notice to his friends and gave us permission to publish them, which I did on Facebook. Before sending the copies to us, Larry made sure that they complied with the Data Protection Act of 1988 by blanking out the addresses. The response to my posting the letters was outrage. I received an email from one of the recipients that reads: "Read the top of those fucking letters, MORON! 'PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL'. I'll be complaining to Warren's 'solicitor' about your posting our 'PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL' letters. YOU should not have had access to them, and to list them is actually ILLEGAL! You've really done it with me, Jones! I'm fucking fuming! FUCK YOU, Jones!" They then go on to threaten me with legal action. I've not done anything illegal at all. I have never had access to any of the recipients' addresses and if I had I certainly would not publish them. However, I've been informed by a solicitor that it was still improper legal practice to share a confidential letter and that neither Larry nor I should have revealed its contents publicly. Facebook have removed my post after somebody complained. However, if a person can engineer a forced overreaction to asking a polite question of a retired American UFOlogist (see previous article), just imagine where they can run with this. No doubt in the expanding region of social media I can't see because of the various people I've blocked, Larry and I are being smeared as mad axe-men and stalkers etc. If the email I received is anything to go by then I can well expect it. The cease-and-desist letters are gone now and I will not repost them. That's a statement, not an apology. I do not apologize to people who hurl abuse at me and tell lies about my character.

I feel a lot better with these developments though. It means Warrengate is entering its endgame. All wars follow this pattern; they start with conflict, hostility, accusation; then threats and ultimatums. Then there follows a usually shorter period of all out engagement until one side has won and the other lost. Then it's finished. This has been the worst Truth mob I've ever had to deal with and I just want it to be over. People on both sides have said this. It would be wonderful if it could all be done and dusted before its first anniversary in May. Then perhaps the UFOlogical community can begin healing. Maybe one day we can become the community we once were before. Of course there will be some permanent damage. There are some people I will never be able to interact with socially again; but luckily only two individuals I can think of; perhaps three. If we attend the same conferences or other events I'll just have to get used to staying out of their way. Like with Trystan Swale, I will not be so childish as to refuse to speak at events, or host them, because of being thrown together with these individuals. Based on the evidence I've seen, much of which I've described in this series of articles, I am convinced that Larry Warren is going to be exonerated. However this contretemps has taught me that there are two separate issues at stake here and the outcome of one is not necessarily connected to the other. One is, of course, whether or not Larry is a fraud; I think he is not. The other is the conduct of the people involved. I'm not going to pretend it's a one-way street and everybody on Larry's side has been lilywhite throughout, but nothing Larry or anybody else has said and done can justify telling somebody, without provocation, however evasively, that they were sacked from their job because they bullied disabled people. The same goes for portraying a suggestion that people send polite emails as an attempt to gangstalk an elderly man. There is no excuse. There is no response I can possibly give. There is no way I will ever allow a person who does that back into my life again.

It's all been a steep learning curve for me, and this will of course not be the last instalment in this series of articles. There is more evidence currently being processed that I cannot reveal at this juncture. It's frustrating because, as I said, I desperately want an end to this repulsive business; but Larry's support team of experts are working as fast as they can. I am proud to have played an active role in defending my friend, the genuine UFO witness Larry Warren. I believe I have chosen the side of good in this battle. It would have been very easy for me to have simply walked away, stayed out of it for the sake of a quiet life. Larry's antagonists are also very confident of victory, mistakenly I would say. When this is all over I think they're going to be deeply disappointed. But there will be no gloating or vainglory from me; I promise. I'll just be happy that we have all finally awoken from this nightmare.

MP's back Brexit... Now SHUT UP and Do It!

It's hard to think of something to write in this post that I have not written before, see background links below. After the underhand machinations of Mzzzzzzzz Gina Miller and her devious accomplices forced Parliament to vote on Brexit, they voted on it and it was passed 498 to 114. I knew this would happen because of the pre-emptive vote held in December. Miller and co's delaying tactic has failed, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2016/12/brexit-is-back.html. Does this mean that the Remoaners will finally understand that "Leave" means "Leave"? The government has published a white paper on its implementation of Article 50 that I'll have to study and report on in the future. The Prime Minster Theresa May is also heading for Brussels to discuss Brexit with the European Union Commission. There's apparently a "leaving fee" Britain will have to pay of sixty billion Euros. I don't see why we can't just stick two fingers up to that and say "We're leaving and not paying!" If the EU wants to collect its fee they can come and get it. They will be met on the beach by a row of angry fully-armed Brits... and I'll be one of them! It's sad that 114 MP's didn't back the bill. I guessed a few of their names beforehand; David Lammy, Kenneth Clarke, Caroline Lucas. I urge all their constituents to vote them out at the next election. Trump's Travel Ban

At the time of writing Donald Trump is less than two weeks into his US presidency yet he has made a huge amount of progress. Some of these were very welcome, such as pulling the USA out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. This international trade regulation would have been devastating to the American and world economies, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/trans-pacific-partnership.html. Others I very much oppose, such as his resurrection of the Dakota Access Pipeline project which had been cancelled by President Obama just a couple of months earlier following mass protests by environmentalists and Standing Rock Sioux Indians concerned for the pollution the operation would cause the natural wilderness, see: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38823331. Trump appears to be in a hurry, as if he knows he only has limited time. He constantly refers to his "hundred days" plan when he is supposed to be allowed at least four years in the White House and possibly as many as eight. Does he suspect that his many enemies are plotting his downfall? So far he is keeping most of his campaign promises, and therefore his latest executive order has been his most controversial. He announced on Friday that restricts people from some countries from entering the United States of America for ninety days; Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. This has been wrongly dubbed by the media "a Muslim ban"; mostly as a result of Trump's electioneering rhetoric. It does not specify the traveller's religion at all, although Islam is the principle faith of all the nations on the list so Muslims will inevitably be affected the most in practice. This policy has sparked protests all over the world similar to those during the inauguration, including a petition to ban Trump from Britain. My first thoughts were that this is a carpet bombing exercise. Real terrorists will find a way round it while the only people who stand to be affected are the innocent; people like the Somali-born athlete Mo Farrah who is worried about being cut off from his American relatives. Her father comes from Yemen, so will she be allowed into the USA to be at the event? What's more Trump's order will probably be overturned by the Supreme Court. The United States' government was designed in one go and has some very sensible features, mostly to prevent one person having too much power. When Trump's attorney general Sally Yates warned him that his travel order was unlawful he sacked her... but he can't sack the Supreme Court. One of the reasons the real terrorists will not be hampered by this blanket travel moratorium is because they are funded and organized by global intelligence agencies like the CIA and Mossad, and Trump knows this. So why doesn't he address that issue in whatever way he can? I ask the same question as I did in the background article above; has he already been compromised or is this just another one of his tricks? It could be the latter because he has done something else that is genuinely constructive. He has arranged for the Syrian refugees that are currently being moved thousands of miles in a mass human transportation programme on a scale unseen since World War II, to instead be cared for in "safe zones" within Syria, Yemen and several other nearby countries, see: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-saudi-idUSKBN15D14L. The perpetrators of this agenda will "not be amused!" with what Trump has done. The media is still obsessively biased against Trump. A textbook case concerns the bust of Martin Luther King that Obama has placed in the Oval Office. A report came out that Trump had ordered it removed. This report was repeated in a number of mainstream media sources without question, but it was not true. He merely moved it to another shelf. Donald Trump has been very daring so far in his administration, but now he must go for broke. He has nothing left to lose and no legitimate reason to hold back. It's the only way he protect himself. Come clean about the real nature of terrorism and immigration, Disclose the truth about UFO's and free energy etc; the works! Any reticence or caution on his part will not placate his opponents; it will merely goad them into making a move against him before, as they see it, it's too late.

The Larry Warren Controversy- Part 5

The campaign against Larry Warren has advanced into a new league. It has risen from the blogosphere and Facebook comments boxes into UFOlogy journalism. The latest issue of Outer Limits Magazine features four articles on the Rendlesham Forest Incident, and two on what I'm surprised no wise-cracker has yet christened "Warrengate". OLM is a fairly new publication, but it is holding a conference later in the year that I plan to attend. The first article is a simple editorial summary of the break up between Peter Robbins and Larry Warren that I talk about in Part 1 of this article series. It is illustrated dramatically with a ripped paper graphic between portraits of the two men. It doesn't speculate or judge the causes of this event. Peter still has not clarified his feelings and describes it as simply a personal issue. This is followed by an article by Philip Mantle entitled "The Rendlesham Rumpus" in which he assesses the contribution of Steve Longero. Then there's a piece called "Rendlesham Responses" in which various people give their opinion, including John Burroughs, Adrian Bustinza and Nick Pope; though not Larry Warren for some reason. The ace of the pack is kept till last. The magazine has published an article by Sacha Christie called "The UFO Truth- The Whole UFO Truth and Nothing but the Truth"; for some reason this time she has failed to come up with one of her usual puns. Sacha provides a précis of her project and pins the reader's hopes right on the mainmast of her six hundred pound so-called "analysis" of Larry's handwriting. Sacha's article is calm and professionally written. Its tone is totally unlike that she often uses on her blog. She places the blame for all the bad feeling in the UFO community solely on the heads of those who do not accept her supposed evidence against Larry. She and her cohorts portray us as stubborn and dogmatic... when they're being polite to us. It's important to remind readers of Sacha's OLM piece that this is the person who carried out an unprovoked personal attack against me, hitting me where it hurts when she brought up my discharge from the NHS, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/is-ben-emlyn-jones-happy-slapper.html. She also grossly misrepresented me in a more recent discussion about a previous article in this series. She wrote: "...But conspiracy theories rage! As part of Ben Emlyn-Jones' special investigation he... demands to know who Barry Greenwood really is and calls for the internet to get a hold of him. Nice... Set the internet on a man in his seventies; way to go Ben." And she sent this to Barry... or rather she claims she did:

Barry has not answered my email, nor anybody else's. It appears he is hiding out in a cabin in the woods and only communicating with Sacha Christie.

One thing I've noticed about Sacha when she began her anti-Larry Warren operation is that all the allies she targeted for recruitment are relative newcomers to the UFO/paranormal/conspiracy scene. She didn't bother with people like me. I've known her for ten years and I've seen her do this kind of thing before. I believe her "time and motion study" explanation for the RFI was proposed simply to stir up controversy and get her attention. She is like a chameleon. She can be very complimentary and charming to people when she sees them as useful to her and turn immediately into a caustic antagonist against those who resist her. She knows that her indoctrination will not work on me. What I've just said is not intended to be a judgement of Sacha Christie's character, just a commentary on the effects of her behaviour. In her OLM article she insists that her "crusade" (her words) is not a "truth mob". Here she is signalling to me. This is a term I coined. Is Warrengate a Truth mob? The good news is that Sacha's pronouncements are not going unanswered. In fact here's an update from Gary:

"UFO TRUTH MAGAZINE STATEMENT:

In issue 10 of UFO Truth Magazine I highlighted an image allegedly found on one of Larry Warren’s FB albums that seemed to show one, if not two anomalies above the A10 aircraft shown in the picture.

On July 29th, 2014 one of Larry’s Facebook friends, Robert Martins, began a string conversation about the A10 photo. He told Larry that he had found an object in the sky just above the A10. He downloaded the image and then looked to enhance it with photo enhancing software.

To his surprise, he found that there was an unknown in the sky above the A10, what looked like a UFO, an unidentified flying object.

When he enlarged the anomalous object he was amazed to see that it appeared to be a structured like object.

Martins then placed his Photoshop enhancements onto Larry’s FB page and other people were then able to view and comment on them.

At 2219 hours Larry responded:

'No shit! Wow thanks Robert Martins………. who knew?????????????? Damn.'

When Larry looked at the object’s shape he was amazed to find that it was the same as the object he’d seen at Capel Green thirty-four years earlier on the third night of UFO activity of the Rendlesham Forest Incident.

Larry Warren: 'Its the same shape as what I saw in late December................Well blow me down.'

One of the people who saw Martin’s image was Rich Dimascio who decided to examine the unidentified object even further and posted his enhanced image on the same FB string conversation taking place with Larry and Robert Martins.

This unexpected development led Larry to telling me about what had happened and resulted in the article that I wrote in issue 10 of the magazine.

Note: At the end of the article I stated: 'I would stress at this stage that further investigation needs to be done i.e. an examination of the original photo and negative (if available) but nevertheless the early indications point to an amazing new development in the Rendlesham case thirty-four years on! GH.'

NEW DEVELOPMENT

I have been informed by Sue McAllister, Larry’s ex-wife, that following a search of Larry’s home the original A10 printed photograph has been found.

As a result I have advised Larry and Sue to:

1: Get a 600 dpi resolution scan image of it.

2: Send that scan, if not the original photo, to Bruce Maccabee, the retired navy photographic image analyst for evaluation (Note - Maccabee had evaluated the photo seen on the FB string and had endorsed it as being genuine).

I await news of the results.

There is more information that I'm aware of that I cannot currently reveal, but rest assured Larry and his defenders, including myself, are striking back. Another researcher, Russ Kellett, has also stood up for Larry regarding Sacha's claim that Larry tried to trade fraudulent music memorabilia.

At the Awakening of 12 Strands Premiere

Last Sunday evening was bitterly cold and I wrapped up warmly as I headed for the big screen London premiere of Sandra Daroy's film Awakening of 12 Strands. This was an unusual situation because, for the first time, I was accompanied by my daughter Louisa. She is almost twenty-two years old and has never been to any of my conspiratorial/UFO/paranormal gatherings before. In fact as a teenager she scoffed at most of what I did, calling it "that David Icke stuff!" This was her generic moniker for everything HPANWO-esque, regardless of whether David Icke was associated with it or not. Maybe it was just a phase she was going through... being a teenage girl in other words. As she has matured her attitude has changed. I've had some remarkable conversations with her over the last couple of years and she's even started reading HPANWO occasionally. The cinema is a very Bohemian-looking Victorian conversion in Bloomsbury called the The Horse Hospital. London is full of these kinds of venues, specializing in arthouse flicks and independent cinema. It's not the first time I've been there. Its facilities are rudimentary, but it has a nice atmosphere. Louisa and I arrived an hour early and went to the pub next door; and, one by one, my friends arrived, including Colin Woolford, Miles Johnston and, of course, the director Sandra Daroy herself. As always it's wonderful to see them. As I said to one of them: "This is the only time I can have conversations like this!"

Along with my friends were some of the cast of Awakening of 12 Strands. Despite being very low budget, Sandra's film is richly complex and has a large number of characters. I recognized a few of them because I have seen a preview of the film. We all sat down with a glass of wine and the event began. Sandra had given me the job of introducing the film. I was a bit worried because I had not had time to prepare anything; this week has been a bit hectic. Luckily the premiere began late so my speech was cut down in length considerably. I had to ad-lib and hopefully channel my inner orator. It worked and I did a fairly good job. It's been filmed by Miles for the Bases Project, see: (coming soon). I introduced Sandra to the audience and then she came up and gave a speech; and then we rolled the movie. It was slightly updated from the preview I had seen. It had a few extra scenes and the sound quality was improved. Sandra is a perfectionist who has yet to be completely satisfied with the product she has created. If anything I would say that she is probably over-critical of her own work and her modesty is misplaced. I was very impressed by Awakening of 12 Strands. Sandra not only directed the film, but she edited it, and did all the production design herself. Although our styles are completely different, Sandra's film covers a lot of the same themes as my book Roswell Rising- a Novel of Disclosure. After the showing was over everybody gave a big round of applause and we took a few photos to commemorate the occasion. Then it was back over to the pub and Sandra had a well-earned glass of wine. Louisa and I had to leave early because we had to get home to Oxford. As I walked away from the pub I said to her: "So you survived your first ever UFO/conspiracy/paranormal event. How was it?"
