Have you ever suffered from prosopometamorphopsia? Well, if you can write or pronounce the word
you probably have. Understandably, it is usually shortened to "PMO". This
is called a "disorder", although it could possibly be just a
different type of perception. Sufferers of PMO have normal vision with one peculiar
exception. People's faces appear distorted in a variety of ways; including
drooping, swelling, discoloration, and shifts in position of the sense organs. (This
is not to be confused with prosopagnosia or "facial blindness", which
is an inability to recognize people by their faces.) A number of images have
been produced, with the assistance of sufferers, which you can find online. The
cause of PMO is unknown, but there are theories that it is associated with damage
or abnormalities in parts of the brain; such as the temporal, occipital, parietal
and frontal lobes. There's also a connection with some types of epilepsy. It is
classified as a form of hallucination and can emerge in any person at any age. It
can be treated with medication. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svaYoTcdYQA.
As you'll see in the comments under this video, a connection to the film They Live is inevitable. It would be
interesting to know if PMO experiencers see all faces as disfigured and
cartoonish or just with some individuals. I also wonder if Tiffany Gomas, the
"crazy plane lady", has it, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2023/11/crazy-plane-lady.html

There's also something brought to my attention by Ellis
Taylor (https://ellisctaylor.com). He
was speaking at a conference and he mentioned an apparently normal TV advert
for Barclaycard which shows a man in a high office building descending via a
waterslide, accompanied by the well-known cheerful strains of Let Your Love Flow by The Bellamy
Brothers. But check out some of the people's faces at 00:36 ! It coincides with the abrupt fashioned cut-off of
the score. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WlRcXIO5ik.
It is actually possible to generate a PMO-like experience artificially by
staring at your own reflection in a mirror with very dim lights around you.
This could indicate that all our brains have the potential for this type of
visual experience, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHmdBCu7Bv0.
PMO is sometimes called "demon face syndrome". This is not a term
doctors like, but could it be that this condition alters the brain to see
something that is really there, and it is not just an hallucination? In this
way it functions like other interventions like electro-stimulation or
psychedelic drugs? Maybe it allows us to see things only psychic sensitives can
usually see. Anthony Peake has similar theories about migraine, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2023/02/anthony-peake-book-launch.html.
I'd like to make an important point; please do not make judgements about any
individual if you see their face change in any way. It does not mean they
definitely are demons, reptilians or aliens. And even if they are, you are not
entitled to mistreat them in any way for that reason alone. Stick to the legal
guidelines about the use of legitimate force and use your own common sense
about who to avoid or not.
