Conspiracies, Fake News and False Scientific Information

 

When the Royal Society of Edinburgh announced they were hosting an online event called Conspiracies, Fake News and False Scientific Information a tsunami and earthquake combined could not have kept me away. As with the Media Society's similar event, Crazy Conspiracy Theories, a Threat to Democracy? Should the UK and US Media Respond?, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2020/12/crazy-conspiracies-theories-event.html, I felt somebody on our side of the debate had a duty to attend, simply to "show the flag" and not let it be dominated by nodding heads. The RSE is a registered charity set up in 1783 as an academy of science and letters. I was not surprised to find that one name appeared at this event that was also at the Media Society one, Marianna Spring. Well, she is that ultimate real life O'Brien, the Specialist Disinformation and Social Media Reporter for BBC News... Yuck! The chairman's name was James Naughtie, who presents Today on Radio 4. So that's two of the four panellists working for the British Brain-buggering Corporation. The other two were Prof. Linda Bauld, a public health expert at the University of Edinburgh, and Peter McColl, member of the RSE's "Post-Covid Futures Commission"... LOL. Prof. Bauld lamented how there is so much fear of vaccines because too many people believe "misinformation" and take the word of "selective scientific" pundits and anecdotes; and they live in echo chambers where they distrust science and their view becomes distorted. He says conspiracy theories emerge in society whenever there is lots of inequality and anxiety. The solution is to build a more stable and equal society. Marianna Spring brings up a recurring subject, the role of social media. She thinks social media should have more power to control information, not less. They should do the opposite of my own advice, signing Section 230, and in fact positively declare themselves as publishers. The most extreme speaker was James Naughtie. He talked about how conspiracy theorists are often grifters who say what they know is not true, just to get money out of their followers. He calls QAnon "extremism that spreads like wildfire!" I put in a question: "But mainstream media now says C19 may well have come from Wuhan Institute of Virology! This is a year after we were "fact checked" for saying that." The panel did answer my question, but they didn't address my point properly, that there is no discussion about the factual validity of so-called conspiracy theories. I'm glad I attended this event, just out of principle like I said above, but it was all very tedious and unoriginal. It was almost indistinguishable from the previous Media Society talk; full of rhetoric, moral blackmail and smears, and absent of factual questioning. I had actually intended this review to be longer and I made a lot of notes, but I don't think there's much point expanding on what I've written here. Happy Referendum Day 2021!

 

Today it is five years since the British people did one of the bravest and most decent things they have ever done, vote to leave the European Union. Against the wishes of the entire establishment and pressure from large numbers of our countrymen whose willpower was shackled by Project Fear, we voted Leave. I feel so proud of that! Since then, as I predicted, none of the portents of doom wailed by the Remoaners have come true. All the current problems related to Northern Ireland and fishing etc are acts of sabotage, obstacles created deliberately by Brussels to impede our path to freedom. It will not work. I look forward to celebrating many future Referendum Days in the years to come. This is only the second one post-Brexit.

Alien Invasion Bus Stop

 

A group of social experimenters... pardon me, advertisers, have come up with a rather unusual public prank. They have replaced the window on a bus shelter with a closed circuit TV screen that displays a view of what people would see if there were a real window there; so it's hard to tell that there is not an actual window on the bus shelter. However, along with the true view they insert strange animated objects that are not really there, but appear to be because the person seeing them thinks that they are looking through a window. Random people waiting for a bus will suddenly see a tiger running towards them, a giant robot or, most sinister of all, flying saucers swooping low overhead. This combination of real vistas with added imagery is known as "augmented reality". From the opposite side, the screen just looks like a normal billboard; the camera projecting the view is very small and carefully concealed. Of course the illusion is spoiled the moment the target looks around the side of the bus shelter and sees the same location without the added characters, but for a few seconds beforehand, they might actually believe that what they're seeing is real. That's frightening. It could even be harmful. It's not as bad as a zombie hoax played on a unsuspecting underground train passengers in Brazil, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2015/04/zombie-tube-trick.html; but it's still exploitative and disrespectful; and dangerous. Even if the victim does not have a heart attack or something similar from they shock, they might panic and dash onto the road in front of a moving vehicle. Is the genuine purpose of this gimmick not to sell a certain popular brown-coloured fizzy drink, but to monitor the public's reaction to the appearance of these extraordinary things? Especially the flying saucers. If the Deep State is planning to play what Carol Rosin calls "the last card" then they'll want to know what hand the rest of us have. It wouldn't surprise me if the Tavistock Institute, Common Purpose or another psychological warfare outfit are involved in this. By-Election Blues for Boris

 

There has been a major political upset in Thursday's by election for the constituency of Chesham and Amersham. On the 4th of April the Tory incumbent, Cheryl Gillan died and it was assumed that she would be replaced by her fellow Conservative, Peter Fleet; seeing as she had a 55.4% majority with a +5% swing in the 2019 general election. But then something unbelievable happened. Fleet was defeated by the Liberal Democrat Sarah Green. She overturned what was thought to be a very safe Tory seat with an incredible swing of +30.4%. The turnout was incredibly high, 83.6% which might have contributed to this bombshell. It also took place a few days after Boris Johnson pulled the rug out over the lockdown ending, complying with "medical advice" to extend it another month, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2021/06/boris-and-trump-return.html; therefore we should have expected the electorate to lash out. Who can blame them? However there is something else afoot that is much more sinister; and we've seen it before, at the Brecon and Radnorshire by-election of 2019, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2019/08/boris-and-nigel.html. Six weeks before the Chesham and Amersham by-election a Lib-Dem and former Conservative MP, Philip Lee, called for another coalition of convenience and, exactly like with Brecon and Radnorshire, he asked the Labour Party and Green Party not to stand candidates. He suggested those parties should ask their supporters to vote Lib-Dem instead just to flip the seat. This would not only lose the Tories a prime constituency, but also act as revenge for the Conservative takeover of Hartlepool, see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Hartlepool_by-election.
 
A new hashtag suddenly started trending #ProgressiveAlliance. As it happened, Labour and the Greens did fight the seat, but lost; Labour knocked into fourth place with an embarrassing 622 votes, their worst performance ever in a by-election. This means that the pact suggested by Philip Lee and rejected by the party leaders was approved of at the grass roots level. The idea of some kind of partnership between all the centre left British parties has grown wings and is now being seriously considered following the Chesham and Amersham victory. None other than Tony Blair is its most prominent champion. This could cause serious problems for the Conservatives. Putting aside their difference, the left and centre left could do a Chesham and Amersham anytime they like and destroy Boris' rule at the next general election in May 2024. Theoretically there is nothing that could stop this honour among thieves. There is no guarantee that this dastardly scheme would work though. The electorate and constituency party members may not cooperate on a national scale and/or as a long term strategy. It would mean minority UK-wide party members in the Celtic nations would have to sell off their countries to the euro-nationalists (I know that's an oxymoron, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2020/07/why-i-am-not-welsh-nationalist.html). Plaid Cymru would be given Wales and the SNP would be given Scotland. Would they really agree to this surrender? The strategy definitely would not work in Northern Ireland where political divisions are much deeper and more concrete. There was a time not long ago when I would have cared; pre-Brexit and when Boris was Britain's Trump, but times have changed and we're back to the bad old days of politics I'm afraid. "They're all the same", "the government always wins", "two cheeks of the same arse" and all the other very true clichés that applied from time immemorial, now apply again. It could be worse though. We do have Brexit and we don't have another general election for almost three years. I believe Boris can find a way to break free. If he can't then he will remain just one more globalist puppet. We can only pray that he does.

Four Pilots Die

 

British Airways has posted a notice on social media announcing that four of their pilots have died. Considering that the carrier employs about 4500 licensed pilots four of them passing away at the same time is statistically concerning. Pilots are generally healthy people and, indeed, need to keep themselves fit because the Civil Aviation Authority requires them to have regular doctor's checkups and can ground a pilot over a health problem; even if it is not immediate, like an unusual heartbeat or high blood pressure. There is a genuine memorial in an airport with four photos of the pilots and four condolences books. The question has to be asked whether the pilots have had the Covid 19 vaccine and if so whether they died as a result. One of the vaccines was withdrawn a few weeks ago when a number of people suffered blood clots after being given it. I don't know whether the vaccine is compulsory for aviators; it now is for care home staff. I can imagine pilots who fly international routes will be put under a lot of pressure to be vaccinated. The airline is so concerned about these questions that in the very Tweet announcing the sad news they also added: "There is no truth whatsoever in the claims on social media speculating that the four deaths are linked." Somebody shared a phone recording on Gab, allegedly from the friend of a pilot, claiming that the government is in crisis talks with BA because ninety percent of their pilots have now had the jab and might be sent home sick as a precaution, see: https://gab.com/BeachMilk/posts/106426449588162200. That leaves just 450 pilots to fly the forty to fifty million passengers BA ships per year. Reuters have "fact checked" the issue and deny that such a crisis is happening. Their reasons are that a company spokesman and the MHRA say so... which they obviously would anyway if the crisis talks were confidential. The passing of the four young men is apparently just a coincidence. Please bear in mind that it was the mainstream media "fact checkers" who told us the virus did not come from the Wuhan laboratory a year before officials admitted that it had, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2021/06/the-return-of-trump.html. Donald Trump, the real President of the United States, is seventy-five years old today. On the 14th of June 1946, he was born in Queens, New York City, USA. The Coxxer goes Pro-Alien

By far the most unexpected thing in "new UFOlogy" has occurred. There's no way I could ever have predicted this one! Several mainstream newspapers have been covering the upcoming UAPTF report that is due to be released in a fortnight, and featured in a few articles is Prof. Brian Cox. When I first heard about this I didn't believe it until I saw it myself because Cox is a staunch skeptic. In fact he's one of the angriest and most scathing figures in the skeptic movement. He has also been quoted on record numerous times saying that, not only are UFO's non-existent, but that the Milky Way galaxy probably has no life in it off the earth, for example: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-coxxer-on-alien-life.html. Nevertheless, Cox has allowed his name and image to be published in a recent article entitled: Pilots say UFO's are Real as they share wild Experiences, and Brian Cox Agrees. In it the particle physicist says: "There have to be other civilisations in the universe. I can't imagine we are the only one... We'd all like ET to be real. We'd like ET to arrive. But we don't want Darth Vader coming down." He thinks that an advanced extraterrestrial civilization would send robot probes rather than a craft with a crew, like NASA is currently doing on  Mars. "Why send Battlestar Galactica when you could send something the size of an iPhone?... Knowing what we know, it's conceivable there are one or two civilisations in a galaxy at any one time. There's certainly one in our galaxy. It's us." He then comments on SETI and the "Wow!" signal, a short radio burst picked up by Jerry Ehman on August 15, 1977. He says: "It came in a wavelength that SETI believes an intelligent civilisation would use. We've heard nothing since. That could be because intelligent life is extremely rare and you have to be in the right place at the right time to hear it. I know that what Prof. Brian Cox says literally in this article does not represent a massive shift from his original position. However, the fact that he even associates himself with the UFO subject is very much out of character. Why is he doing this? It could be that he has more foresight than the other skeptics regarding UAP's. He can see the writing on the wall and wants to manoeuvre himself up the starting grid before the penny drops for everybody and, as Arthur C Clarke predicted, they all start yelling: "I said it was true all along, didn't I?" This covert conversion of Prof. Brian Cox is a stunning development, if that's what it is, and it can leave us in no doubt some fundamental change is about to hit us. It is even possible somebody on the inside has had a quiet word in his ear, seeing as he is such a prominent pop scientist. On the other hand there remains the possibility that this is simply more disinformation. If the upcoming bombshell about UFO's is what Carl Rosin calls "the last card", see: http://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2021/05/disclosure-project-press-conference-20.html, then these out of the blue UAP media spots with Coxy are just a part of the propaganda paving the way. We'll see. We must be on our guard, but at the same time not overreact to the point that we miss out on an opportunity.

The Return of Trump

 

Right now I have never before felt so confident that Donald Trump, the real President of the United States, will oust the usurper Joe Biden and his crooked accomplices. He will then return to the White House to take his rightful place openly and prosecute the criminals who have tried to destroy his country. President Trump has begun posting information on his political blog concerning the election recount in Arizona. Unpicking the monumental electoral fraud committed last November will not be easy, but work is underway to do it. Biden, Harris and Pelosi et al are still behaving as if they are living under the sword of Damocles. They are. If they had really won the stunning victory and popular mandate they claim to have, they would be acting a lot more confidently. If so then their heroism was not in vain. One day the whole world will know their story. Clearly Biden faking his way into office was not part of "The Plan", but that doesn't mean all hope is lost; far from it. Revelations are dropping from the branches of the secrecy tree like ripe fruit. Hidden facts of all kinds, on almost every subject, are getting harder and harder to keep. People know more now about the truth of political corruption than at any other time in living memory. If you Google "conspiracy theories proven true" you will find numerous examples of people like me being vindicated by the subsequent turn of events. In fact a lot of what is now recorded history started off as conspiracy theory; for example the Watergate scandal or John Lennon being spied on. A year ago the "fact checkers" on social media used to ban you for saying that Covid 19 originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology instead of a traditional market in the same Chinese city. President Trump was condemned and ridiculed for stating he had seen an intelligence briefing supporting that. Social media users were pointing out that staff at the laboratory became ill with a mysterious disease in the autumn of 2019 and that was how the coronavirus escaped from its containment facility to infect the entire world. The US government's response to the pandemic was led by Dr Anthony Fauci who was sacked by Trump and afterwards reinstated by Biden... unsurprisingly. In early 2020 Fauci made many decisive comments about the need to wear a mask. Now some emails of his have been leaked onto Buzzfeed that show he privately believed that masks were totally ineffective as an infection barrier. They provide a slight benefit when an infected person sneezes or coughs, but that's it. However, his hypocrisy gets worse than that. In fact other emails are extremely sinister. It turns out that Fauci was directing research into coronaviruses at the Wuhan laboratory and funding them with taxpayers' money laundered though a charity. One of the emails specifically states that coronaviruses were being developed as a biological weapon. This is, once again, something he originally denied. What makes it all so utterly galling is that the mainstream media is now reporting on all this as a truism. Yet a year ago it was denounced as a conspiracy theory and people who believed in it were labelled crazy. They are not apologizing and few are even issuing a correction statement. They're portraying the news as common sense that they have always delivered. It is so Orwellian; "Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia; Eurasia are our allies." So wear your tinfoil hat with pride, my friends! Hang another ribbon on your corkboard without apology! I am enjoying the progression of events right now. The momentum shows no sign of slowing. There are no guarantees, of course, but I can't deny my current feelings of excitement and anticipation. August is the most forecasted date for Trump's redemption. Boris' Wedding

 

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson has married his sweetheart Carrie Symonds. It was a low-key ceremony held in Westminster Cathedral, indicating this was a Roman Catholic nuptial mass. The ceremony was planned in secret and the first thing we, the people heard about it was when the cathedral was closed to the public suddenly on Saturday afternoon. The guest list has been kept confidential, but it's rumoured that many names in the cabinet were there, including Priti Patel, Matt Hancock, Nadhim Zahawi and Therese Coffey. The couple's fourteen month old son, Wilfred, was also in attendance. This is the first time a Prime Minster has had a wedding while in office since Robert Banks Jenkinson in 1822. There is a lot of fuss about Boris marrying, seeing as he is twice divorced. He is marrying a Catholic, yet his previous weddings were protestant/secular so this does not break the strict rule about remarrying. He was an Anglican, but was baptized Catholic to marry Carrie. This makes him Britain's first Catholic Prime Minister (Tony Blair also converted to Roman Catholicism, but this was after he left office. It is probably because he seeks presidency of the EU). I'm very happy for them both and they have my heartiest congratulations. This raises important questions though. I theorized that Carrie and Wilfred were being used in some way as leverage against Boris; possibly even that they were being imprisoned somewhere and their lives were threatened. Clearly this is not the case, or at least if it was ever the case, they are now free. Does this mean Boris will go back to being the good old Boris we all knew and loved? Will he get out of the swamp and once again become Britain's Trump? We will have to wait and see. I think the upcoming date of the 21st of June will be significant because this is when the Covid 19 lockdown is due to end completely. If it doesn't, this means Boris is still co-opted. In the meantime Carrie will now be playing a more public role as his official spouse. She will be attending the G7 summit in Cornwall next week.
