The Tunguska Event- 100 Years Ago Today!

A hundred years ago today, one of the biggest explosions ever to have hit the Earth took place. In the darkest corner of the Siberian forest a blast as powerful as 30 megatons leveled 830 square miles of forest. The Earth rang like a bell and it was felt by seismographers all over the world. It was always thought to be an asteroid or cometary impact, but when scientists got to study it in more detail, some strange anomalous evidence arose.

Because of its location, in a remote and uninhabited area, and because of the political turmoil in Russia at the time, it wasn’t until 1921 that the newly-formed Soviet Academy of Science sent an expedition to visit the explosion zone itself. The expedition leader, Leonid Kulik, was expecting to find an impact crater where the object struck the Earth, with fragments of the meteorite buried in it, but found nothing except a 30 mile wide area of devastated blown-down trees and new young trees growing between them. At “ground zero” a few bare tree trunks were left stranding with all their branches and bark stripped off. He was forced to conclude that the object must have exploded in the air when it hit a denser air pocket pulverizing it and scattering its fragments beyond reach, but somehow that didn’t feel right to him, or to many others. To this day, the Tunguska Event is still a mystery.

Kulik lived before the invention of the nuclear bomb (some would therefore call him very lucky!). If he hadn’t then he might have seen that what happened at Tunguska had the hallmarks of a nuclear explosion. The tree trunks left standing upright at ground zero, the signs of a sudden and powerful heat flash that caused instant combustion. The same kind of data can be found at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There were some eyewitnesses too. It is thought no human was killed by the explosion because it hit in such a remote area, but people in the surrounding towns and villages saw and heard it. Listen to what one of them had to say:

“We had a hut by the river with my brother Chekaren. We were sleeping. Suddenly we both woke up at the same time. Somebody shoved us. We heard whistling and felt strong wind. Chekaren said, 'Can you hear all those birds flying overhead?' We were both in the hut, couldn't see what was going on outside. Suddenly, I got shoved again, this time so hard I fell into the fire. I got scared. Chekaren got scared too… it became mighty bright, how can I say this? As if there was a second sun, my eyes were hurting, I even closed them… The morning was sunny, there were no clouds, the Sun was shining brightly as usual, and suddenly there came a second one!”

Chuchan of the Shanyagir tribe.

The “second sun” sounds just like descriptions of the incredibly bright light of a nuclear explosion. But this was in 1908! Decades before the Bomb was invented… by humans. What if it was an explosion caused by,,, non humans? This was published in The Sibr newspaper on the 2nd of July 1908:

"’On the 17th of June (30th of June by our calender), around 9 AM, we observed an unusual natural occurrence. In the N Karelinski village (200 verst N of Kirensk) the peasants saw to the North-West, rather high above the horizon, some strangely bright (impossible to look at) bluish-white heavenly body, which for 10 minutes moved downwards. The body appeared as a "pipe", i.e. a cylinder. The sky was cloudless, only a small dark cloud was observed in the general direction of the bright body. It was hot and dry. As the body neared the ground (forest), the bright body seemed to smudge, and then turned into a giant billow of black smoke, and a loud knocking (not thunder) was heard, as if large stones were falling, or artillery was fired. All buildings shook. At the same time the cloud began emitting flames of uncertain shapes. All villagers were stricken with panic and took to the streets, women cried, thinking it was the end of the world.’ The author of these lines was meantime in the forest about 6 verst N of Kirensk, and heard to the NE some kind of artillery barrage, that repeated in intervals of 15 minutes at least 10 times. In Kirensk in a few buildings in the walls facing north-east window glass shook."

This sounds like a UFO sighting! Could the Tunguska Event have been caused by a UFO? This is the hypothesis of the book The Fire Came By by Thomas Atkins, John Baxter and Issac Asimov. They speculate that the UFO was experiencing catastrophic technical problems and knew that it was about to blow up. So the crew piloted it to a place where the explosion could do the least damage. That was charitable of the aliens; they knew that they were doomed, but still thought of us during their death-throes. Thanks, guys. There are other theories too, ones linked to strange experiments being carried out at the same time by the electrical genius Nikola Tesla. This theory was first proposed in the Repairman Jack novels by F. Paul Wilson, but has since been brought out into the non-fiction realm as a serious theory.

This is a long and engaging subject, but I hope I’ve introduced you to it well and encouraged you to look further. Here’s a good place to begin your further studies: Listen to a reconstruction of the sound of the blast itself!: http://planetologia.elte.hu/1cikkeke.phtml?cim=tunguska.html

London to Brighton in 4 Minutes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7GXWuTwkF8

This short film was made in 1953 to act as an interlude, a quick TV spot that could be used to fill in when there was nothing else to broadcast, in case of lapses in the schedule, cancellations, technical problems etc. It has a hypnotic quality and might be able to produce an altered state of consciousness if watched enough times. It's really cool if you turn down the sound and listen to this song as the soundtrack!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MzShg7yXik , something I've wanted to do since I first saw the film and listened to the song when I was a kid, years before the advent of YouTube. It's also fun to follow the train's journey on Google Earth or Get-a-Map: http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/ . The London to Brighton railway and its surrounding landmarks have not changed much in the last 55 years, as you can see from the more recent remakes.

Of course when someone made the first 4-minute film somebody no doubt already had plans to break its record with a faster one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fRgP-xgrdk&feature=related and a yet faster one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Pn4LjnZ-fs

The Modern Emperor of Zimbabwe

Robert Mugabe, the leader of a so-called "independent" African nation is still in his seemingly immovable power-slot. In his 1999 interview with David Icke ( http://www.davidickebooks.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=19 ), Credo Mutwa revealed that Mugabe is a descendant of the line of the ancient Zimbabwe Empire, in other words he is part of the African branch of the Illuminati! His great-grandfather was one of the biggest names in the 19th Century slave trade too. He came to power after General Tongo Gara, the leader of the rebellion against Ian Smith's government, was conveniently assassinated just after their victory. One of his first actions as president was to invade the southeastern county of Matabeleland and kill as many of the people as possible by locking them in their houses and setting them on fire! Credo says this happens over and over again all over Africa. A rebellion is led by a genuine man of humble origins who gets killed just after his job is done, to make way for someone else from an ancient royal bloodline to rule as a fascist dictator.
It makes the concept of "independance and home rule" something of a sick joke. Links to the ruling nobility can be found in the leaders of other former colonies outside Africa, including the United States. George W Bush is related to the Queen closely enough to be traced by Burke's Peerage!

Happy Anniversary, Gordon Brown!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7476703.stm

The Labour candidate in the Henley by-election was completely trashed on the first anniversary of Gordon Brown's ascendancy to Number 10. Labour scored several hundred votes less than the British National Party and only twice as much again as the Monster Raving Loonies!

This may be a kick in the teeth for Brown's Labour Party, but not for the New World Order agenda. As I've said before many times: presidents and prime ministers are merely public-relations officers. The real power comes from the unelected elite who pull their strings secretly, like puppeteers behind the scenes. Democracy is a projected illusion to make us think we are free and therefore keep us in line. If Brown goes then David Cameron will probably take his place, but nothing will change.

"Back from the dead" Baby

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7473109.stm
This is amazing and wonderful! Of course the baby is not out of the woods yet, but the fact that she’s still fighting is glorious. She is very close to my heart because she was brought to my hospital and I attended the crash call personally. Due to my code of confidentiality I can’t tell you any details of what happened, but I’ll keep you all posted to any news stories on the subject.

What makes it all the more special is that just yesterday I was discussing a similar incident that happened many years ago on ATS: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread357355/pg1 (15th post down; I am Hagbard Celine).

Ghost in Car Accident

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjWQcT4qGUU&feature=related

This is a camera recording of an unusual and spooky road traffic accident in Portugal involving a ghost. It's worth watching it all to get a handle on the three people involved, but the really interesting bit begins four minutes into the vid. It's interesting how when Theresa gets into the car, the camera starts going fuzzy. Despite the title of the vid, I'm not convinced that it is real.

More UFO's Reported in the Midlands!

There have been some more news reports of major UFO sightings in recent weeks. I would normally feel ashamed to buy The Sun, but I did when I saw the front page headline: ARMY SPOT UFO’S OVER SHROPSHIRE! The incident took place the night before the Welsh sighting I mention below, on June the 7th at 11pm. It was a fleet of up to 13 cube-shaped craft that zigzagged over the Tern Hill Barracks near Market Drayton. They were spotted by three of the soldiers there and one of them, Cpl Mark Proctor, filmed them with his phone cam. He made a report and has been told by MoD officials not to say anything more about it. Nick Pope (who attended the Now That’s Weird Conference at the weekend: http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2008/06/now-thats-weird-conference-2008.html ) was quoted in a column of the story as saying that “The time has come for a proper inquiry”. Cpl Proctor described the UFO’s as “rotating cubes with multiple colours”. Amazingly, this sighting is not only corroborated by the two other soldiers with Proctor but by a couple driving along the A5 near Shrewsbury. They claim to have seen a similar sight at the same time. The story goes on! Last Friday a woman called Bonnie Lewis was out, proverbially walking her dog, when she saw a group of cylindrical objects over Bromsgrove, Staffordshire. Like Proctor she managed to film them.

Are we seeing the start of a flap here? Keep watching the skies! It's good to see that the Tern Hill sighting, a completely military one, was released to the press without ado. This shows a change in policy at the MoD, probably encouraged by the archive declassification (See: http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2007/12/british-ufo-files-declassified.html and http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2008/05/more-british-ufo-files-released.html ). Maybe this is the reason why we're seeing so many UFO-related stories in the news at the moment. This would mean that sightings like these happen all the time; we just don't get to hear about them!

On this page you can watch UFO footage and also vote as to whether you believe in alien life: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/ufos/article1336870.ece . I’m encouraged to see that, at the time of writing, 81% say “YES” and only 14% saying “NO” with 5% undecided. The Currant Bun still can't resist having a chuckle though! They've got a cartoon on the same inside page as the main story showing a UFO with a green alien aboard and a Shell garage below it; the caption reads: "Saucer fleet to mother ship... abandon Earth landing... fuel too expensive on this planet!"

Glastonbury Tor Structure

When I was at the Now That's Weird Conference at the weekend (Review: http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2008/06/now-thats-weird-conference-2008.html ) I noticed a strange structure in a field just opposite the Tor. It was a buried bunker-like building, about 30 feet square, with some superstructures on top that looked like electric switch cabs. There was also an antenna sticking out above it; the whole thing was surrounded by barbed wire. It’s probably just a substation or something, but I keep an eye on these things and took some photos of it. What if it's not a substation?... And if it's not a substation, then what is it???

My Orgonite

Orgonite was developed by the students of Wilhelm Reich (Background: http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2007/10/legacy-of-wilhelm-reich.html ) Unlike the Accumulator and Cloudbuster, a piece of Orgonite has quartz blocks in it to act as a filter for DOR. This means that the serious illnesses and injuries caused by incorrect use of the original Orgone generators can't happen with Orgonite.

I bought this at the Now That's Weird Conference. It was only £15 yet it creates an Orgone field with a radius of several hundred yards, so my neighbours will be benefitting from it too! I'll let you know how I get on with it.

UFO Over South Wales

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2160814/Police-chase-UFO-over-Cardiff.html

This story broke as I arrived at the Now That's Weird Conference on Friday (report shortly to be posted on main site. See Nick Pope's lecture). The incident occurred three weeks ago at RAF St. Athan, South Glamorgan. The helicopter was coming into land when a mysterious object flew past them narrowly avoiding collision. Initial reports, like the one linked, claim that the police gave chase persuing the craft right across the Severn Sea (or the "Bristol Channel" as the English call it) to the coast of North Devon. Later reports say that this did not happen and that the helicopter, with three crew aboard, continued to land as normal.

Jade on Big Brother

(Background articles: http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2007/11/reality-tv.html and http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2007/10/ive-recently-written-here-about-fake.html )

Check this out: http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/bigbrother/1506_jade_alex.shtml Jade shows an enormous amount of naivite here:

She added: “Big Brother knows everything about her background. It’s all highlighted in the process before the show. You even see psychiatrists who give you full tests.“They must have picked up somewhere along the lines that she is aggressive. Why would you put someone like that in there?“It’s as if they wanted to create another hate figure like I was.”

"It's as if"...? Of course they did! The reason BB contestants are given a psychological evaluation is not to prevent bullying and conflict, but to make sure that it happens! Nobody's going to tune in to BB to watch a group of people getting along like a house on fire. They want these scandals! They want to see people getting angry, upset, hurt, humiliated.

The Critics

Who are these “critics”!? You keep hearing about them on any publication or TV show to do with movies. “’The Critics’ applaud this latest achievement by one of Hollywood’s top directors.”… “The reaction from ‘the critics’ has been rather lukewarm.” What does all this shit mean?

I never read a film review until I’ve seen the movie it’s of. This way I can watch the film without prejudice. But I know people who constantly scan the reviews and write-up’s. Some of them won’t go and see a movie if it’s had a bad review. This is terrible because it means that the Critics are making up their mind for them! There’s this absurd phrase: “Defying the Critics”. It refers to a movie that’s been panned by the Critics, but the public flock to see. Why “defying”? It suggests that the Critics have some sort of authority over what we like and do not like. “You’re not defying us are you? How could you! We decide your opinions, not your own tastes!” Sadly some people even denounce a film or TV show with a bad review without even watching it!

Have you ever defied the Critics? Have you ever watched a movie and really loved it, only to find that the Critics have given it a terrible review. I have several times. Have you seen this film?: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118661/ The Avengers is based on the popular 60’s TV series about secret agents and hi-tech espionage. This film was absolutely obliterated by the Critics! Here’s the review by the Radio Times:

The cult 1960s TV series gets royally shafted by Hollywood in this stunningly designed blockbuster that's stunningly awful in every other department. Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman couldn't be more miscast as John Steed and Emma Peel, here trying to stop villainous Sir August De Wynter (Sean Connery playing himself again) holding the world's weather to ransom and freezing London to an Arctic standstill. Ruthlessly edited before release and packed with arch one-liners, bad puns and vulgar double entendres, this is misguided and misbegotten to a simply staggering degree, while Jeremiah Chechik's mannered direction screeches the action to an unexciting halt at every flat turn. Terrible special effects and zero chemistry between Fiennes and Thurman make this notorious disaster a total waste of everyone's time and energy. (RT reviewer Alan Jones.)

But I loved it! I thought it was a very colourful and stylish piece of cinema; enormously entertaining. Funny and clever with its blend of futurism and anachrionistic touches. I have a mind of my own which I make up myself and I’m defying you, Alan Jones of the Radio Times! What are you going to do about it!?

UNISON Accepts Pay Deal

UNISON has joined the Royal College of Nursing and voted to accept the latest government pay deal by 65% to 35%. This is for a 2.4% payrise per year for 3 years. The rate of rise is set and cannot be renegotiated until the 3 year period is up no matter what happens in terms of the economy or inflation.

This I think is a big mistake and I voted "No" without hesitation. 2.4% over 3 years is effectively a pay cut with the present recession looming. The hardest hit NHS staff will be you, my Brother and Sister Porters; although many civilian staff will be equally worse off. We need to be less willing to take the short end of the rod. Low pay rises don't solve economic disasters. Even George W. Bush understands this! (And if he can understand it anyone can, even the monkeys at London Zoo!) He has awarded every American worker $600 to help them keep spending up and support industry to ease the coming resession.

Free Gary!

http://freegary.org.uk/

Gary Mckinnon has begun his appeal against extradition to the USA at the House of Lords. It's his last chance to avoid spending the rest of his life in jail for trying to bring his fellow humans information that could save the world. (Background: http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2008/04/gary-mckinnon.html )

I ask you to keep him in your thoughts, prayers or affirmations. Good luck, Gary!

Welcome to the HPANWO Voice

This blog is intended as a news site for HPANWO readers, covering news stories and other short items. It is to act as a companion to the main HPANWO site. ( http://hpanwo.blogspot.com/ , also see the links column.)

Law and Order- In Your Face!

I'm going to begin straight away:

An obsession with crime and punishment is one of the "Fourteen signs of fascism":

12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations. (Source: http://www.libertyforum.org/ )

Now see this:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7460134.stm

It's remarkable that the above news story appears on the same day as this one:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4548253.stm

And it was only a few days ago that the government voted to increase the legal internment period to 42 days.

Law enforcement and criminal justice is so in your face these days! It's the hot topic everywhere from Parliament to pub chatter. This I find disturbing; it is a sign of a sickness in society. To use an analogy: It's the same thing as if the antivirus system on your computer goes into overdrive. Imagine if your Norton suite was continuously open and scanning, swallowing up all the disk space and RAM so that no other programs could run! You'd take the damn thing to the repair shop wouldn't you? But this is what our society is like at the moment. Rising crime rates and the constant threat of terrorism is making us fear to step outside our front door. And despite the promises of politicians to tackle it, violence and disorder are increasing.

When you listen to the politicians talking about crime it's worth remembering that they're not necessarily being honest (I know that politicians lying may be a strange concept, but... bear with me!). Not everyone loses out during a breakdown of law and order. The governement certainly don't because a lawless society gives them more power! If everything was hunky-dory then we might start wondering if we need these overpaid, dark-suited office wallahs in Westminster or Capitol Hill. But when we live in a danger we look to them to protect us; it gives them hero status. We're willing to pay out more tax and comply with more authoritarian laws. What's more the senior politicans themselves are not effected by street hooliganism and lawlessness because they have bodyguards and drive round armoured limousines.

A healthy law enforcement and criminal justice system is like a healthy PC antivirus program: It runs quietly and unobtrusively in the background, allowing you to get on with your daily life peace and security.

The uniforms for community servicemen form a worrying precedent. Why not go further? Make political prisoners wear a uniform! Imagine people walking around in shakles with a jacket that says on it: "NATIONAL I.D. CARD REBEL" or "911 CONSPIRACY NUT". You think I'm exaggerating? Wait and see!
