Stefan Molyneux on UFO's Again

 

Several times now I've had to make reply posts to Stefan Molyneux about UFO's, along with many other subjects, see the background links below; and as soon as I saw the title of his latest Freedomain shows I knew I would have to do so once again. It is what is for me the ultimate clickbait: When Aliens Arrive!. In the livestream shows, listeners get to ask Stefan questions and he tries to answer them. One of them asks this one; it is reproduced in text in the blurb: "Stef, what do you think about possible government disclosure of ET, UFO existence? Is it going to have massive implications on religion, education and philosophy?" I was expecting Stef to go on a pre-2017 skeptic rant like he has previously. At the back of my mind I was hoping slightly that he might do a mature and gracious about-turn like Sam Harris, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2023/02/sam-harris-on-ufos.html; but how he actually replied was totally different to any of my hopes or fears. As soon as he reads out the question he follows on by saying: "Hope you don't mind a black pill." Odd, I thought, but continued listening. "People don't have thoughts, they have assigned prejudicial reactions. He then goes on to talk about Joseph McCarthy instead of UFO's... Where's this going? I thought, but then pretty soon I understood his point. Stef sets off on a long explanation of how most people's reaction to things you might consider jaw-dropping is astonishingly indifferent. We who care about general principles are in a minority; not just about aliens, but Biden's laptop, the Iraq WMD's, Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinksy etc. Sadly, most people lack independent thought. The NPC meme is not just a joke, it has revealed something chilling about human nature, or at least human nature as it has been engineered by our society. The vast majority of people will not care about UAP revelations unless the papers tell them to. They are "passive receivers of stimuli from the media" says Stef. I have to admit, he has a point. I've said as much myself; in fact if I were writing my book Roswell Rising- a Novel of Disclosure today, I would write it slightly differently. Early in the story, there is a worldwide upheaval when governments admit we are being visited by a non-human intelligence. In reality, I predict only about five percent of people would respond like that. Of course another five percent or so, the more open-minded, would be delighted; this would include me. However the remaining ninety percent would go about their business as before, depending on how the media portrayed the UFO presence. This condition brings us on to the threat of fake Disclosure, something I also describe in Rising and its two sequels. What's interesting is that while he is breaking the news about acute sheeplehood he hardly even mentions the original question, that of UFO's. He also repeats the point about aliens being our salvation because they're bound to be free-market capitalists (an amusing inversion of J Posadas, see: https://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.com/2021/01/j-posadas-and-alien-communists.html). He asks: "How's our own space programme going under government control? Have you got your ticket to Mars yet? NASA said we'd have those years ago... The aliens will rescue us!" I did notice that Stef's tone has changed since he last made this point. Previously he said it in a jocular manner, but now he sounds far more serious. Reading between the lines, this could indicate that he has been influenced by 2017 in the same was Sam Harris was. So therefore I look forward to his future production called Why I was wrong about UFO's.

Where Are the Crop Circles?

 

The first ever crop circle of 2023 has appeared. The news about it broke as I was writing this article; however, I've decided not to change the title. It has taken a long time for them to start this year. At the Bases Project conference last weekend, see: https://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.com/2023/06/hpanwo-show-510-podcast-bases-ufo.html and: (coming soon), it was the topic of much discussion and frankly we were rather worried. Crop circles have been a source of wonder and delight for the UFO-paranormal-Conspirasphere for several generations. There has not yet been a summer without them since the late 70's. I suppose we've come to take them for granted. Perhaps this delayed start to the season has been a good thing; making us appreciate them a lot more. I know that if they ever stopped we would miss them terribly. Could such a time ever occur? I don't know because I don't know why they appear to begin with. What do they mean? If they ever ended it might be a bad sign, that the intelligence behind them had abandoned us; alternatively it could be a good sign. A time might come when whoever, or whatever, gives us this gift decides we no longer need it and they can now leave us to develop by ourselves. It's a bit like in Tolkien with the elves leaving Middle Earth just before the War of the Ring because they know men have evolved to the point where they no longer need the elves to guide them. It's all a part of growing up; children leave home, birds fly the nest etc. It's both a sad and happy moment. If the circles ever ended it might mean that we were ready for something even better. It has a 250 foot diameter perimeter circle with a small hub circle and six identical evenly spaced scimitar blade-like features extending between the outer and inner circles. There is no way to tell so far whether or not this is the work of human circle makers, but rape is a far more difficult crop to plank then other arables that ripen later in the year. Either way, I'm grateful to whoever, or whatever, gave us this artwork. Blocked by Marianna Spring

 

I have had the dubious honour of being blocked by Marianna Spring on Twitter. She is not my only hate-follow, but she is the one I reply to the most. The BBC propagandist has about eighty-six thousand followers and probably the majority are her critics. I'm guessing this because most of her comments are not complimentary. She has complained in several interviews that she receives messages that include death threats and misogynist abuse. Now, ironically, none of those kinds of messages have ever come from me. I have been very disapproving of her and even sarcastic, as was the case with my final Tweet to her, but I've always been polite. The fact that she blocked me could well be because she knows who I am; in fact she is probably reading these words right now (in which case I say: Marianna, get a better job!). All I did was reply to a Tweet in which she was revealing a photo of herself taken for the graphics of her new Radio 4 show Marianna in Conspiracyland. I posted the image you see below and the words: "This one is more apt". I would never endorse, in fact I totally oppose, any personal attacks that are illegal or insulting directed towards Marianna, or anyone for that matter; but she has to accept that many people oppose what she is doing. She is attempting to create an informational dictatorship. Another possibility is that she, or whoever is managing her social media, would rather block reasonable and polite critics than internet thugs who only hurl abuse at her. Then she can make the false point that the whole Conspirasphere consists solely of people like that.

Mark Pilkington at Bases 2023

 

One of the speakers at the recent Bases Project Conference was Mark Pilkington, somebody I have discussed before, for example see: https://hpanwo.blogspot.com/2012/12/mirage-men-by-mark-pilkington.html and: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2014/02/mirage-men-film.html. His thesis is that the modern mainstream UFO phenomenon is some kind of engineered neo-mythology created as psychological warfare to launder more down-to-earth covert projects. This is not a very original idea and it is in fact somewhat fashionable at the moment. It is actually rather implausible when you consider how easily and badly it could backfire. Drawing somebody's attention towards something with the ultimate objective of deflecting it away is a very risky gambit. It's like a bank robber jumping up and down on top of his buried stash in a striped jersey and face mask every time a police car drives past, waving a placard stating: THERE IS NO STOLEN CASH HIDDEN HERE, JUST THE BONES OF A UNICORN! How long would it take for somebody to realize what was really going on? This is another reason to doubt Mark's opinion, the antiquity of the experience. The South African lady who asks a question after me does a good job too; but as it happens, Mark has had a close encounter, with a silvery spherical object. Mark must have known that this audience would be likely to differ with him considerably and would not give him an easy Q and A. To his credit, he holds his ground and remains calm and rational. This was a good-natured event and everybody had fun.

My Eye Test

 

Today's article is a non-woo-woo one for a change. For several years I have been suffering with eyestrain. HPANWO TV viewers have noticed how I squint at my PC monitor and at distant signs etc. I have not had my eyes tested since my driving test over thirty years ago (Don't worry, I do not drive today). I booked an appointment at my local opticians and went along. Eye tests have changed beyond belief since my last experience of them. Gone are the letter boards on the wall. I spent about half an hour staring into machines that resembled a submarine periscope. The optician did more than just check my vision; she sprayed a jet of air into my eyes to check the pressure in case I was developing glaucoma. She also took a photo of the back of my eyeballs to make sure the blood supply was okay. She said my eyes were slightly dry and recommended eye-drops, but a family member told me they always say that just to sell the drops. As I guessed in advance, I was prescribed spectacles, one pair for distance vision and another for reading. Luckily I got them on a two-for-the-price-of-one deal. So I am now officially a four-eyed git, as you can see in the illustration. There are hundreds of different frames to choose from, all different sizes, shapes and colours; but I couldn't find any that made me look good. All of them make me look like some kind of white collar criminal and add a good decade to my apparent age. However, they have made a huge difference to my vision. Despite this, I felt rather strange at first, especially with the distance lenses. I walked home feeling dizzy and disoriented; eventually I became a bit nauseous. This is normal, the optician told me, until my eyes get used to the glasses; which can take about a week. Everything around me looked distorted, as if I were in a hall of mirrors; despite my improved distance sight. Luckily I didn't have a bike to ride, otherwise I would have become known as the optical Albert Hofmann. I've started noticing for the first time how many other people wear glasses and understand that I am hardly alone. Probably about a third of the people I pass in the street had them on; I never noticed until now. There are some good things about going to the opticians though, or at least they were more pleasant than my trip to the dentist in 2016, see background link below. The optician didn't give me a lecture about not having regular eye tests; while the emergency dentist scolded me: "If you had had regular checkups you could have avoided this... etc." This particular opticians is not yet cashless; perhaps readers could inform me if any of the others are. So, me wearing glasses is something I'll have to get used to, as will everybody else who sees me.

Deception Cash

 

Some friends of mine have just come back from a holiday in Taunton, Somerset. While they were there they picked up what they thought were some dropped banknotes, but it turned out they weren't. They were agitation flyers designed specifically to be mistaken for banknotes so that people will be drawn to them. They photographed them; the illustrations above. It reminds me of the "9/11 deception dollars" that emerged after the September the 11th attacks. "Deception pounds" were also designed to mimic British currency; other countries had their own versions. I've also been sent a very interesting discussion between Richard Vobes and David Murphy, aka "Allegedly Dave". They explain that retailers cannot refuse cash because it's legal tender. Will Sirhan Sirhan be Released?

In August 2021 a probation board in California USA recommended that Sirhan Sirhan should be released from prison. After nearly fifty-five years in jail, could the supposed killer of Senator Robert F Kennedy be set free? So far the parole licence has not been issued, vetoed by the California governor Gavin Newsom, but Sirhan is continuing his applications. He is supported by some of the Kennedy family, including the most controversial of them, RFK Jr. Bobby's third son has been speaking out vocally against the C**** 19 pandemic response policies. Sirhan is now seventy-nine years old and has seen nothing outside a prison wall since he was twenty-four. Should he be released, he will emerge into a world transformed from the one he left behind; totally different in terms of politics, technology, social standards etc. He may well find this such a shock he will merely want to return to his family home in Jordan and live out the rest of his days peacefully. That would be completely understandable, however I do wonder if he may decide to become more vocal about his obvious innocence. As I explain in the background link above, there is no way on earth Sirhan could have shot RFK. Naturally, he has been playing along these last few years to stop the probation board refusing to consider him; but once he's out, he'll be free to say what he really thinks. RFK Jr shares the widespread view that Sirhan did not kill his father. If the two of them raise the question publicly, it could lead to an inquiry that could have enormous implications. After all, if the Robert F Kennedy assassination is dodgy, how much else is?
