Ukrainian flag on St Helena

 

The St Helena Government have raised the flag of Ukraine outside Plantation House. It now flies between the poles of the Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha triumvirate. This copies the actions in other countries of flying the flag or projecting it onto famous monuments like the Sydney Opera House, Nelson's Column or the Brandenburg Gate. Where on earth did anybody even find a Ukrainian flag on St Helena? I suppose they could have quickly made one from scrap textile. It's a simple colour, just blue and yellow horizontal stripes. I hope one wasn't specially flown in. Maybe they can use it as bedding for Jonathan afterwards. We are seeing all my predictions about the dark side of St Helena's new international age coming true, sadly. This would never have happened before the airport was built. Before then, the Saints paid very little attention to global current affairs because such affairs didn't affect them. Today, St Helena is sounding more and more like Chipping Norton. The difference is, Chipping Norton has had a thousand years to adjust to living in the modern world. St Helena has had seven. From my perspective, the Saints seem to be suffering for it, like the Australian Aborigines who turned to drink when their land was discovered by the outside world. This is on one of the remotest inhabited islands on earth. As David Icke says, it makes you want to eat a cushion!

RT Censored

 

Even before the devastating invasion of Ukraine that began yesterday, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2022/02/russia-invades-ukraine.html, Sir Keir Starmer made a speech in Parliament demanding that Ofcom withdraw the broadcasting licence from Russia Today. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7yjul_HZsY. I should not be surprised by this. Governments have become increasingly blunt and barefaced in their tyranny post-2020 and their drive for censorship is not as cloaked as it used to be. They do still sometimes use diversionary catchphrases like: "countering misinformation", "fact checking" and "trust the science", but more and more they are laying their cards on the table and admitting that these are simply opinions and knowledge that they don't want the people to have access to. Starmer calls RT President Putin's personal propaganda tool. Indeed their YouTube uploads all have a Wikibox that says: RT is funded in whole or in part by the Russian government. However, the BBC, which is not only funded but owned by the UK state, has no such disclaimer. And as we've seen, it is a personal propaganda tool of whoever in the globalist cabal runs Great Britain. I would be infuriated to see RT banned from the TV networks. RT is one of the few interesting and open-minded news channels around; one of the others being GB News. They regularly interview anti-establishment figures whose appearance in the mainstream media would be unthinkable. Sure, their general stance is pro-Russian; but look how unbendingly anti-Russian the rest of the media is. Why does nobody complain about that? Ofcom, the Office of Communications, is a regulatory agency that is intended to protect the public from harmful content on TV, radio and the rest of the media. It was never supposed to be a political censorship organization. Mind you, banks were originally set up merely to keep people's money, but today are being used to freeze the bank accounts of the Canadian Truckers, see: http://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.com/2022/02/third-rail-radio-programme-118.html and shut down the finances of people who join the wrong political party. There are few forces in the world as destructive as a government that is frightened, but it is still a good thing that they are frightened. I've a feeling they know far more about what is really going on than we do; and that's why they're scared. I take hope from that. Following recent events, I'm sure RT will eventually be taken off the UK terrestrial listings; but remember, regardless of Ofcom's actions, you can still watch RT online, see: https://www.rt.com.

Russia Invades Ukraine

I came home from work today and gasped when I saw what has happened. I never thought I would write the words in the title of this post. The mainstream media warned that it was coming, but I assumed President Putin was playing a different and more subtle game. Instead, his strategy is actually far simpler. As dawn broke, explosions were heard in Kiev and shortly afterwards the Ukrainian foreign minister Tweeted: "Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under strikes. This is a war of aggression. Ukraine will defend itself and will win. The world can and must stop Putin. The time to act is now." Reports then emerged of explosions at several military bases, not just in the Donbas, but all over the country. It was then revealed that the explosions were caused by land-attack cruise missiles. The targets included the Ukrainian military's headquarters in Kiev and their missile command centre, presumably to stop them launching retaliatory strikes against Russia. There are now Russian land forces moving northwards from Odessa, a coastal town near Crimea, and southwards from Belarus, a Russian ally. There are also Russian aircraft flying in Ukrainian airspace. The Ukrainian air force claims to have shot down six of them. Air raid sirens have been heard in Kiev, Kramatorsk, Dnipro, Mariupol and Kharkiv; and people have been staying indoors and even sheltering in underground railway stations, like Londoners did during World War II. Airports have also been attacked. By midday there were Russian ground forces on station and skirmishes began with the Ukrainian army. A block of flats in Chugev was destroyed. Lots of people have been killed, both soldiers and bystanders. People are fleeing the cities and the nation, as well as neighbouring Moldova, are preparing to cater for thousands of refugees. Is this World War III? This is not a false flag. Putin has announced the military operation which he says is to protect the welfare of Russian citizens in Ukraine and to demilitarize the regime causing their suffering. His plan may well by to oust President Zelensky and install a pro-Russian leader, possibly Viktor Yanukovych, who was forced to step down in 2014 and has been exiled in Russia. The response from the world political community has been universal condemnation. France, the USA, the EU and Great Britain have all announced massive increases to their existing sanctions. As I say in the background links above and below, I believe Putin is not the bad guy here. I think his cause is just. He is being set up as a typical popular media bogeyman. In fact The Sun's headline yesterday was a classic example of its acidic wit: "MAD VLAD". Last night the Brandenberg Gate in Berlin was lit up in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The people of earth are being frothed up into a lynch mob. However, Putin has raised the stakes so high with this devastating escalation that I wonder what he hopes to achieve. How does he think this is going to end well for his country and people?
