Blue Light above New York

Something very strange happened on Thursday night in New York City, USA. At 9 PM the sky above the city began to fluoresce with a bright blue light. There is a vast amount of amateur footage of the incident. Several people wondered if this was an alien invasion. Also, predictably because this is the United States, some wondered if it was the Rapture and God was about to ascend them into Heaven. According to the media the blue glow was caused by an explosion at an electrical power plant in the Queens borough of the city. An accident with a transformer caused it to catch fire and release bright blue electrical arcs, which were reflected by the low clouds that covered the sky at that time. Nobody was hurt in the fire, but the entire plant had to shut down leaving thousands of people without electricity for the Christmas holiday. LaGuardia Airport nearby had to switch to emergency power and numerous flights were cancelled or diverted. This has caused Gatwick-scale chaos during the post-Christmas pre-New Year weekend. There have been a few videos circulating claiming that the cause of the blue light about New York City was in fact a UFO and that the power station accident was faked, or possibly staged as a cover-up. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqJ03mlt2a0. However, based on the huge number of other videos from the thousands of witnesses on the ground, I'm certain that these UFO images are manipulated. I see no reason at the moment to disbelieve the official story. The power station affected was the Astoria plant which in run by the company Consolidated Edison Inc. Its website is partly down at the moment, see: https://www.coned.com/en; but this does not mean it's because it is hiding anything. Interestingly the Tweet from the New York Police Department on the subject included the reassurance: "no evidence of extraterrestrial activity". This is significant, not because there really was extraterrestrial activity, but because the notion is now so accepted in the forefront of people's minds that the authorities feel compelled to mention it; in the face of ridicule from other authorities no doubt. Secure Team 10 has covered this, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QW9McxMNdc. I suspect the difference in the night sky effect caused by the other electrical explosions Tyler shows could be because of the amount of cloud cover. Despite all this, strange lights do sometimes appear in the sky when there is no obvious explanation for it. This happened recently in Oxfordshire near where I live. I didn't witness the incident, but I know many people who did, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2018/04/blue-skyglow-in-oxon.html. I don't know what causes incidents like this. It could be something to do with UFO's, or maybe HAARP and chemtrails. It might also be some effect of cosmic radiation or the earth's magnetic field.

PS I think most people know New York is in the USA.

  5. And the fact that an identical event occurred the same night in Kenner, Louisiana, is just a 'coincidence' of course? And, I believe, there was a third one in another State that has been very undereported. Yep, 'exploding transformers' that cause weird blue light skies, they happen every day, we all know that don't we, we've all seen them so often haven't we? Or the fact that the NYC area was massively chemtrailed the day before (see the excellent Richie From Boston vlogs), thus producing a conductive atmosphere for whatever was causing the blue light. Or the fact that a huge part of the US internet went down for 36 hours at the same time. Or that folks all over the US were receiving '911 emergency services not operating' text messages at the same time. Or that only two weeks previously, the US government published a 94 page document warning people to prepare for an event that would leave the US without power for up to six months. Yep, move along folks, nothing to see here, it's all explainable and all just coincidence. No need to prepare, no need to question, no need to think critically for yourselves.

  7. Anon, that does make a big difference. I didn't know there were other sky glows in the USA at the same time.

  8. Hi Callum. Despite totally disagreeing with you about the flat earth, I oppose those who bully you. I'm sorry you're having that experience. I know how it feels! Definitely you must immediately block people who treat you like that. Only interact with people who are polite.
