Ben Emlyn-Jones at High Wycombe Paranormal Meet-Up

I will be speaking at the High Wycombe Paranormal Meet-Up group on Wednesday the 28th of January. The event starts around 7.30 PM and the venue is the Bricklayers Arms, High Street, Downley, High Wycombe, HP13 5XJ. Just £2 entry. See here for more details; you'll need to log into a Facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/groups/415462125205125/.
My lecture will be entitled Energy Politics and UFO's. Energy is the everything; it is the foundation and structure of civilization. What are the politics of energy? Something far deeper and more complicated than you might think, and believe it or not it connects to UFO's. Why? The answers... and more questions, will be revealed.
See here for a film of my previous appearance at High Wycombe Paranormal: http://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/ben-emlyn-jones-at-high-wycombe.html.

Mark Mutch Sectioned

The Berkshire and Oxfordshire Seeking Solutions group has really taken some stick lately; we must have touched a raw nerve with the authorities. The very day after Carla Buckle was released from prison, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/carla-buckle-released.html, another member, Mark Mutch, was involuntarily committed under the 1983 Mental Health Act. This means he was forcibly taken from his home and incarcerated at a psychiatric institution, the Warneford Hospital in Oxford. The supposed reason was that he had refused to allow his doctor to give him some injections, a course of antipsychotic drugs. Mark is the child of a military family and a targeted individual. His uncle was an army sergeant who was killed in a bomb attack in Northern Ireland, the work of the IRA... supposedly. Mark has been experiencing attacks by electromagnetic and psychological weapons for many years. The problem is that the medical profession doesn't recognize this as a real phenomenon. Whenever a TI tells a psychiatrist about the symptoms he or she is experiencing and why, the psychiatrist will fail to understand what's really going on and will invariably misdiagnose their patient with a psychotic disorder. The perpetrators behind the attacks can exploit the ignorance and apathy of doctors to put people away if they want to, like they have Mark. It's likely that Mark's committal was triggered by a report he made to the police concerning electromagnetic warfare methodologies being wielded against his home. Luckily this situation is changing and awareness is growing. A few weeks ago the first international conference on covert harassment took place in Brussels, Belgium, see: https://www.covertharassmentconference.com/. There are many organizations like ICAACT, that research and expose mind control and provide assistance and support for TI's and their families, see: http://www.icaact.org/. Some people are busy gathering clinical evidence of their predicament, like Kieron Lee Perrin, see: http://chroniclesofamindcontroltarget.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/operation-you-lot-tree_13.html.

Luckily I live very close to the Warneford Hospital and so paid Mark a visit yesterday evening. The hospital is old and dark; it was built in the early 19th century and has a very unpleasant atmosphere. There is a heavy security door to the ward where Mark is being kept and I was not able to enter until a nurse had escorted me through. I was made to wait in a corridor while she went to fetch Mark. The other patients shuffled to and fro past me, not seeming to notice that I was there. Mark was pleased to see me and he took me to the ward's dayroom where we sat and talked. The area is quite comfortable with a tea bar, a television and a games room, but the windows are all sealed and the only door to the outside world is constantly locked. The place feels tense and dismal; it has an unpleasant smell. It's very different to the general teaching hospital where I was a porter. It's worrying that we've only just found out about this and I'm not sure why Mark didn't tell us sooner. It appears the idea never occurred to him, and that's strange. Unfortunately it may be due to the medication he's since been receiving. Being sectioned in a mental hospital is probably worse than being in jail; jail is certainly much easier to get out of. However he came across as cheery and optimistic. He told me he'll probably be released within two weeks. If that's true then it's great news; however he'll still be under the sectioning order even then and can be readmitted to the Warneford at a moment's notice if his psychiatrist says so. The committal won't be lifted until the doctors decide. The way the medical profession treats psychiatric patients is appalling; being out of the Hospital Portering Service is a weight off my conscience due to things like that. I recall a time when I was with a young female doctor dealing with somebody in A and E who was suffering from confusion. The doctor did some neurological observations on the patient, asking a list of simple questions, which the patient failed. The doctor then grinned cruelly and said: "Because you couldn't pass this test I can do whatever I like with you!" I spent about twenty minutes with Mark in the ward then had to find a nurse to check me out again through the security door. Mark gave me a present, two bars of soap that the patients had made themselves. I look forward to seeing him free soon.

Charlie Hebdo

The only story in the news at the moment is the horrific massacre on Wednesday at the offices of the French satirical comic Charlie Hebdo. Three masked gunmen walked in and shot dead eleven of the writers and editors; they also killed two policemen and injured a third. At the time of writing the police have just shot dead the suspects at a siege in a town a few miles northeast of Paris. I've also just heard that there has been a gun attack at a Jewish supermarket and one at a jewellers in another city. Everybody is asking me what I think of this; is it another false flag? I would say that right now it's too soon to tell for sure, but I recommend treating news stories on the matter with a lot of scepticism, with a C. There is said to be evidence of anomalies in the video record so far captured of the gunmen shooting people. I've not looked at this yet because I might find it upsetting due to my memories of gunshot patients I had to deal with at the hospital. This particular kind of false flag, involving urban gun attacks, is a speciality on continental Europe. During the Cold War the intelligence services trained groups of private citizens to act as "stay behind armies", resistance groups which would function as a guerrilla force if the Soviet Union invaded and occupied NATO countries. This was known as "Operation Gladio". However another more classified mission was the "strategy of tension"; Gladio operatives carried out a series of bombings, shootings and particularly brutal robberies in shops and banks. These were blamed on militias from both the far left and far right. There's evidence to say that the Bologna railway station bombing in 1980, which killed eighty-five people making it the worst terrorist atrocity until 9/11, was not really carried out by the terror cell the Armed Nuclear Revolutionaries, those who were blamed; but was instead an Operation Gladio false flag attack. This BBC documentary on Operation Gladio never stays online for long so I recommend downloading it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXavNe81XdQ. So is it possible that a new War on Terror version of Operation Gladio is at work today? Absolutely yes. Is the Charlie Hebdo attack the product of that? Quite possibly. In the meantime I'm sure we all agree that this was a terrible crime whoever did it. Deepest condolences to the loved ones of those killed.

Weighing up the Enemy

The first episode of Weighing up the Enemy can be seen on 4OD here: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/weighing-up-the-enemy/on-demand/59354-001. (This link will only be live for a limited time; if a more permanent link becomes available I'll edit it in; keep checking back.)

This programme had the working title of Fatonomics, and if that rings a bell to regular HPANWO readers, it's because I've written about it before when I was invited to take part myself, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/an-offer-from-channel-4-again.html. I realize now why they wanted people with strong views on current affairs in the UK. From the brief intro you can see that they specifically seek participants with diverging viewpoints of various issues for effect; there's a hunter and an animal rights activist, a woman on benefits and somebody who hates "dole scroungers" etc etc. No doubt if I'd said "Yes!" to Maverick TV they'd have lumped me in with an overweight Skeptic, probably Penn Jillette or somebody like him. Presented by the suave and sophisticated Dr Christian Jensen, this series is clearly inspired by Maverick TV's previous production, the BAFTA winning Embarrassing Bodies. The two competitors in this first episode are ideological opposites who want to shed those pounds. Harriet is a wealthy shopaholic doctor with a jet-set lifestyle, big cars, expensive tastes and the "carbon footprint of a Yeti", whereas Jo is an eco-warrior on a crusade against consumerism. Dr Jensen provides a strong negative incentive for the two women to compete against each other; the loser has to donate money to a cause supported by their political rival. Harriet plans to spend Jo's cash on hiring a gas-guzzling racing car and taking it for a polluting spin around a racing track. Conversely Jo would spend Harriet's donated reward on sending her children on a course to build eco-toilets. A study from the USA has revealed that apparently dieters are far more likely to stick with the programme and not be tempted off it if these kinds of competitive incentives are added. The contest begins with a weigh-in that is similar to the one before a boxing match; the winner at the end will be the woman who drops the most in weight. Interspersed with this calorie duel, Dr Jensen explores the emergence of plus-size culture among women, about how it's become cool to be chubby. This is possibly a positive reaction to the conformist promotion of skinny models in the past. There are now many fashion shops which cater to women over a size sixteen and beauty pageants for them. I myself have always found many women on the large side attractive, I believe the colloquialism for men like me is "chubby chaser". And I'm impressed by the rebellious and nonconformist aspect of those who enjoy their appearance. There are many women who are proud to be fat. However, I don't think it was just my imagination and prejudice that made me detect a subtle mocking tone in the narrative. And Dr Jensen laments that this new "fat pride" movement is discouraging women from losing weight for purely health reasons. Why? Would he prefer seeing them shamed and shunned into smaller dress sizes? It doesn't work; it's more likely to produce anorexia and overdoses than athletes.

Jo and Harriet find it tough going. Jo is a vegan and fails to maintain her protein levels, so begins to reduce her muscle mass instead of her fat. Harriet falls right off the wagon during a birthday weekend and munches her way through squadrons of Doritoes all washed down with champagne. The girls' head-to-head is hotting up; they have jogging races and boast about how many steps they can walk. In a second interlude, Jensen delves into the diet industry, which is worth over two billion pounds a year. Unlike the plus-size pride community, the diet dollar positively denounces those who are not the prefect zero and lauds their product as the answer, so long as you put the weight back on afterwards and have to buy more of course. In the end it's the moment of truth, the two girls step onto the scales... would it be a catastrophic spoiler if I tell you that Harriet won? Jensen blames Jo's defeat on her high-carbohydrate and low protein diet. This was not a very entertaining programme; weight-loss seems a strange thing to compete with one another over. I like competitive drama, but what's wrong with normal sports? I find football and cricket more exciting. Although this programme was not as bad as some in the past I could mention, it's still pretty weak. It's not mind-controlling so much as just dull. I can't imagine why anybody would find it entertaining. In the midst of the boredom is a kind of fun-poking fantasy that a lot of these prime time shows indulge in; Harriet and Jo are the kind of people whom others are likely to gossip about. I myself am one of these people too; I remember many occasions walking into a staff base and everybody suddenly becoming silent and looking away. Maybe that's why I was selected? Having watched the first episode you may wonder if I've changed my mind over whether I made the right decision to refuse to be featured. No. I am still glad I turned it down. Weighing up the Enemy is not quite as bad as I expected it to be; it certainly has a better title now. However my expectations of the mainstream media are very hard to undercut. It's still a shallow, cheap and pointless piece of pulp TV, which makes it pretty average by today's standards.

Disclosure Petition VII

Disclosure Petition VII is now open. This is the seventh petition to the We the People service at the White House website relating to the Disclosure of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race. The We the People service allows American citizens to set up petitions for a cause of their choosing with a target number of signatures; if they reach their target then the President's office has to respond. The first Disclosure Petition in 2011 reached its target of five thousand signatures in thirty days and so the administration obeyed its own rules and issued a formal response; it was short and simple: "Thank you for signing the petition asking the Obama Administration to acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence here on Earth. The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye." This was the first public statement on UFO's made by the US Government since the closure of Project Blue Book in 1969, see: http://badufos.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/white-house-replies-to-disclosure.html. It's an important legal foundation to build on. More Disclosure Petitions followed which failed to reach their targets; this is suspicious because We the People raised the limit bar after the first one and also several people, including me, noticed that their signatures were mysteriously vanishing, see: http://hpanwo-tv.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/what-happened-to-disclosure-petition-ii.html.
The objective of Disclosure Petition VII is to promote the Congressional Hearing Initiative. The legal basis is a challenge to the first Petition reply from the White House which we know is a complete lie and can prove it in a fair and open, formal Congressional hearing, see background links below. As the Paradigm Research Group states: "There are scores of government/agency/political witnesses of rank and station prepared to testify under oath before congressional committees now about the evidence the White House states doesn't exist. See: www.citizenhearing.org" I ask all HPANWO readers to sign as soon as possible. The target is 100,000 names within one month: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/support-congressional-hearings-governmentagencypolitical-witnesses-extraterrestrial-related-events/zYx1VkvD. After you've signed, find your signature and make a note of the number; mine is 70, as you can see above. Keep checking back to make sure it's still there, especially as we approach the deadline. Thank you.
