How Many More, Rolf?

The TV celebrity Rolf Harris has been sentenced to five years and nine months in prison for four sexual assaults against young girls between 1968 and 1985, see: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-28163593. Harris has this image of geniality, eccentricity and light-heartedness that made him a star entertainer for children, including me when I was a young TV viewer. Amazingly, he even took part in a child abuse helpline fundraiser, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sduX3i9zokg&sns=fb. If Rolf Harris can be a closet paedophile, then anybody can. I wonder how many other top media stars have this covert dark side. In his home town in Australia all his photos have been taken down; there was even a "Rolf Harris Appreciation Society", but I expect it has now been disbanded. This whole affair follows the investigation into the crimes of Jimmy Savile, see: http://hpanwo-hpwa.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/jimmy-saviles-hospital-crimes.html.

It's high time people started asking some serious questions. If any establishment in the world had two of its leading figures convicted of rape and sexual assault against minors the police should tear the place to bits, questions everybody and suspend whatever regulatory permission that outfit has to operate until the matter was resolved. Yet the BBC retains its broadcasting licence and is still on the air; it continues to take the Queen's Shilling from the taxpayer and the organization itself has never been analysed in any criminal investigation; the exception being "Operation Yewtree", but that deals solely with the prolific offences of Jimmy Savile. The general consensus right now is that the BBC is completely innocent in these affairs and were as shocked as everybody else that at least two of its leading on-screen personalities were leading a double life which involved the sexual abuse of underage boys and girls, including alleged crimes committed on its premises and in its care. "Oh my God! We had no idea!" (Raises hands in shock). And this wasn't even just a one-off blunder; it went on for a very long time. Jimmy Savile's criminal activities date back to his earliest appearances on BBC radio and TV, that's nearly fifty years ago. As we've heard, Rolf Harris has been carrying out attacks for almost as long. Are these really just two "bad apples" who coincidentally got away with what they did through some monumental oversight by the Corporation? Does anybody actually believe that? In my view there is no way these evil men could have achieved what they did without a massive network of institutional collusion; it must have a large numbers of members in highly powerful positions in the heart of the BBC. As far as we know this network is still at large, we must assume that; and so far there has been no investigation into its existence at all. The good news is that public scepticism and defiance is growing; plenty of people are asking the necessary questions. TV Licence evasion has now reached endemic levels, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/tv-licence-change-in-law.html. When will this monstrous sickness be healed? Soon I hope. Harris and Savile were just little titbits thrown to the tiger, an attempt to pacify the quest for truth. But the tiger is getting hungry again and they're running out of titbits!

Depop Lovelock

I've found in recent years that formerly-admirable scientific icons have started displaying a dark side; I've written before about David Attenborough, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/bbc-horizon-why-most-of-us-need-to-die.html. Another is James Lovelock, who over the years has become a very eccentric and popular scientific mind. His work is based around the "Gaia Hypothesis" of biology, named after the Greek goddess of the Earth. I've read his book Gaia and it postulates that the Earth's life and its environment cooperate all together as part of an organized system that regulates itself and maintains a balance of temperature, ocean acidity, wind patterns, atmospheric gas levels etc, termed "homeostasis". Like many biologists he's also an ardent ecologist who is concerned about the damage done to the environment by human activity. Many years ago he came out in support of nuclear power, much to the consternation of his fellow Greens at the time; however since then it's no longer such a radical move and many others have followed suit like George Monbiot and Mark Lynas (Lynas also now supports GMO's). As the propagandized hysteria over Carbon™ emissions grows, more and more environmentalists join them; they even have an organization, see: http://efn-uk.org/.

However times have changed and there is a new mindset emerging in the world of ecological activism. Its personnel seem to be dividing into two new strains, the first is despondency and the second is desperation. The despondents are in a small minority, but they're still quite vocal; they're basically people who have simply given up. They believe that the world is already past the tipping point of no return when it comes to the runaway greenhouse effect and, in a nutshell... we're all doooooomed! Vinny Eastwood interviewed one of these insufferable wet blankets on his show, Prof. Guy McPherson, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQxYmVrSrcI. If it wasn't for Vinny's light-hearted ripostes I'm sure a few of the listeners would have gone out and shot themselves; why McPherson doesn't do so himself is beyond me. The other category, the desperates, are far more common and they include people like the aforementioned George Monbiot and Mark Lynas. These are people who don't care about anything except reducing Carbon™ emissions. This must be done completely and speedily at all costs, no matter what happens... otherwise then we're all doooooomed! This is why they're in favour of nuclear power; in fact Monbiot outlines his position very well here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6gtCwvIzWA. Almost paradoxically there are certain people who combine elements of both the despondents and the desperates, like Dr Mayer Hillman whom I wrote about a short time ago, see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/anything-to-save-planet.html. The despondents scare the desperates a lot because they're terrified that they might be right. The desperates are the conscience of the despondents, a glimmer of the last hope they subconsciously might not have quite abandoned. The result of all this is the emergence of a large collection of individuals and groups who are willing to carry out very extreme actions, including covert geoengineering projects, the political introduction of authoritarian fascist/communist revolutions and even a cull of the world's human population. James Lovelock is one of those. At the age of ninety-four he's still on the front line and has appeared on BBC News' Hard Talk, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLA-Sn6bi-U. He reiterates the notion that the Earth can only sustain a population of one billion people and he riles against those who think the problem can be solved just with introducing renewable energy like wind and solar power. He also repeats Pentti Linkola's lifeboat analogy, see: http://hpanwo.blogspot.co.uk/2010/02/pentti-linkola.html. He's an open advocate for geoengineering and has even designed several methods, like a special ship that pumps cold water from deep in the ocean to the surface; he's also pro-fracking because Carbon™ emissions from gas are lower than those from coal. Most chillingly of all, he said this in 2010: "Even the best democracies agree that when a major war approaches, democracy must be put on hold for the time being. I have a feeling that climate change may be an issue as severe as a war. It may be necessary to put democracy on hold for a while." So James Lovelock has changed from somebody I once admired into a very scary person indeed; he's one of many and their numbers are growing. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this whole situation is a phoney war and it's one that has been constructed deliberately to engender this tendency of omnicidal lunatics.

Stanton Friedman has Heart Attack

Apologies, HPANWO-readers, for yet another UFO article in this long run of them; I will be bringing out some on other themes soon. However this is very important because I've just heard that Stanton Friedman has been taken ill. A few days ago he suffered a heart attack and is currently in hospital near his home in New Brunswick, Canada. He is shortly going to be moved to a specialist cardiac unit and might need surgery. He will therefore not be able to attend this week's Roswell anniversary event or the upcoming MUFON Symposium. Source: http://copycateffect.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/friedman.html?spref=fb.

Stanton T Friedman is a nuclear physicist who has worked on nuclear power projects for the US Government and private companies. He has been investigating UFO's since 1970 and is definitely one of the most important figures in the history of UFOlogy. It is mostly down to his efforts that the world has the awareness it does about the Roswell Incident. It was thirty years after it happened, in 1977 that an aging Jesse Marcel Sr approached Stan and decided to tell him his story. This story spread like wildfire and today it has an unshakeable place in popular knowledge. Stan has been a guest on the HPANWO Show following his appearance at the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, see: http://hpanwo-radio.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/programme-46-podcast-citizen-hearing.html. On the 29th of July Stan will celebrate his eightieth birthday; let's hope he's out of hospital by then. I ask all HPANWO-readers to join me in their thoughts, prayers or positive intentions that Stan will make a rapid and complete recovery. Today is World UFO Day, see: http://www.worldufoday.com/, I hope Stan has a happy one.

Is Luis Suarez a Zombie?

Luis Suarez is one of the world's top footballers; since his youth debut in 2003 the Liverpool striker has been highly successful and has won a large number of accolades including last season's Player of the Year. Like many top football players he has a very hot-headed personality and he's been involved in a string of controversial incidents. However the penchant Suarez seems to have in expressing his rage is highly unusual and disturbing; he bites people. In last night's World Cup match against Italy, Suarez was playing for Uruguay, his national team, and he was marking the defender Giorgio Chiellini when, for no apparent reason, he leaned over and bit him on the shoulder. The referee missed the incident and so did not react; if he had then Suarez would have received an immediate red card. However the attack was clearly captured on TV and Suarez now faces a possible ban from the tournament; that alone if he's lucky. This is not the first of such incidents. In 2010 Suarez was playing for Ajax in a match against PSV Eindhoven when he bit his opponent Otman Bakkal; and only in the last season he got a ten-match ban for biting a Chelsea player. See: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28012675. The urge to eat the flesh of living humans is common feature of the zombie in mythology and horror fiction.

Of course I'm really only joking with this article's title. I'm quite sure Luis Suarez is not a zombie... at least by conventional definitions of the word. He clearly has some major psychological problems though and may well be psychotic. The boxer Mike Tyson has exhibited similar behaviour; he had a drink problem, was convicted of raping an eighteen year old beauty queen and also accused of beating his wife. In 1997 he was disqualified from a fight with Evander Holyfield after he bit Holyfield's ear, in a similar incident to the one with Luis Suarez. Of course there are always going to be a few people in this world who will do that sort of thing, but it is such bizarre behaviour we should not expect it to happen this often in such high profile settings. I can't help but wonder if this is in some way connected to the general promotion of zombies and zombie-like themes in culture, politics, journalism and science; a subject I have been observing for some time now, with increasing concern. Is Luis Suarez a part of this agenda, either knowingly or unknowingly?
