Digital ID Fallback

The government have announced that Digital ID will no longer be mandatory, only voluntary. This is a major retreat from their previous hard-line position; and I'm pleased to say they have cancelled other unpopular policies too, such as those intended to make farmers' and pub landlords' lives a misery. Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3385zrrx73o. The Starmer regime has not given a good explanation why it has U-turned like this, but the reason is obvious, mass-resistance from the public and even, amazingly, the members of Parliament, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2025/12/mp-digital-id-debate.html. This is a major battle won, but we must not get complacent; Starmer has not given up yet. Digital ID is not being scrapped! I've a feeling they will try to sneak in a rule to make it compulsory after the voluntary version has been rolled out. The infrastructure must not be put in place at all. This means we must not let out guard down; I'm still attending the next big demonstration against digital ID in April. The Starmer regime is under a mandate from the global Deep State and so will not go quietly. Look at the way they want to ban Twitter (I can't bear to call it "X"!). As usual there is an apparently unrelated pretext which is the same one they used to justify the Online Safety Act, obscene material, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2025/03/online-safety-act-goes-live.html. As Elon Musk himself has said, this is nothing more than an excuse. Users have responded with a new meme, Getting Grok to make pictures of Keir Starmer wearing a bikini and there are thousands of them. We should feel encouraged by the way this struggle is turning out. We are definitely on the winning side; and we will continue to win so long as we continue fighting.

  1. Sorry but 'x' is just a paedo app for Nazi's these days. It will be banned in multiple countries sooner rather than later (Multiple governments and news agencies have registered sites on alternatives such as Bluesky in recent weeks) and will be no great loss to society following it's replacement of twitter. It's sad as I was a huge fan of twitter but with zero content regulation, no ability to determine real from fake accounts after the changes to verification, an influx of bot accounts, a pay to play style of content, advert spam consisting of porn and bitcoin scams, fake content abuse, rage/hate baiting being promoted through paid for engagement it serves no purpose for anyone beyond those profiting and Elon Musk controlling the narrative on any given day on his own social media platform. He certainly didn't buy it to make money. I prefer to engage with real people on social media about topics I'm interested without fear of a pile on should I say something at odds with Elon. Funny how he uses the 'censorship' 'free speech' arguments whilst making Grok a mouthpiece for his own deranged mind rather than truly independent. He should really learn about the UK freedom of expression laws before complaining we don't have free speech. He simple doesn't like the fact we have laws against hate speech and inciting violence which alongside the paedo and porn content on X the majority in the UK want action taken against.

    1. Like all social media platforms it has a legal obligation to remove criminal content and Musk's platform has that. As for "Nazi's", if you mean what most people mean by the word: white men not hating themselves, then he's guilty as charged and so am I! Good for him! I agree that it should go back to its original name of Twitter. "X" is a stupid name. And you can't even say "Tweet" anymore; it's just "post". Pathetic! As I said in the article, I insist of calling it Twitter.

  2. Except it doesn't remove criminal content. UK laws are not being adhered to by X. In fact no criminal content is being moderated or removed (eg child pornography, harassment ( non consensual nudes), child suicides and scam adverts to name just a few more recent examples where legal action is being taken including by Musk's ex wife. As for Nazi's I mean literally Nazis Ben. The white supremist sort such as Nick Fuentes If you want to self identify as one then that's up to you, add it to your pronouns or whatever.

    1. Anon, there has been no prosecution completed against Twitter; None. We have lawsuits initiated and investigations launched, but no trial. Even the govt has admitted Twitter has not been proven to break the law. If they're convicted fair and square, then fine; but this has yet to happen. As for Fuentes, I watched his interview with Piers Morgan and Fuentes came across as the most reasonable and certainly not a Nazi. He certainly said nothing hateful on the scale that feminists and leftists say against white straight men regularly and with total mainstream approval.
