Ben Emlyn-Jones at Conscious Tribal Gathering 2016

I will be making a live appearance at the Conscious Tribal Gathering 2016. This is a family-oriented event geared towards spiritual exploration and ethical human community. It is at a campsite and attendees will be best off by bringing a tent or caravan; otherwise there is nearby B&B accommodation. My talk will be entitled Real Zombies. Zombies are well-known figures of mythology and horror fiction, and their profile is steadily increasing in recent books and films. However more and more they have been appearing in the media and in official government publications portrayed as real or semi-real. What’s going on? I've performed this lecture before, for example see: http://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/zombies-fact-or-fiction.html. I usually state that this presentation is not suitable for children; however children will probably be present at this talk. The organizers assured me that this will not be a problem; indeed they specifically requested my zombie lecture. I will nevertheless inevitably end up toning down some of it, even if just subconsciously. If you've seen this talk before it's still worth hearing it again because it will include updates.
