Scorched Earth

This is another part of my fictional imagination that is coming true. The globalist-run Biden administration in the USA has responded to losing the election by authorizing the use of long range strike missiles in the Ukraine war. Britain has immediately followed suit. Ukraine has been "donated" Storm Shadow missiles by Starmer's UK; the American Army Tactical Missile System ATACMS and the more modern air-launched AGM-158 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile, JASSM. These weapons are specifically designed for direct attacks on targets in Russia; not in Russian-occupied Ukraine, but inside the Russian Federation itself. Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy4n9vgwnnyo. This is an alarming escalation of the Ukraine war, a war that was started shortly after the arrival of President Biden in the first place. President Putin has responded by missile strikes on several targets in Ukraine using the first deployment of its new Oreshnik missile. It is not confirmed, but it is widely believed that all these weapons could carry nuclear warheads. It really makes sense and it is something I could have predicted. For the next two months the United States will be stuck in a halfway house in which a Deep State front knows its end is approaching and on the 20th of January a populist patriotic administration will begin. Trump's first term was a brief four-year period of unprecedented peace, at least in all the conflicts and standoff the US was formerly involved in. With Trump's departure came not only the war in Ukraine, but increasing tension over Taiwan, assassinations in Iran, the October the 7th massacre in Israel and the resultant attack on Gaza. Our enemies do not want these wars to end and so they want to get in as much devastation as possible before the party's over. Maybe they hope to make as much of a mess as possible for Trump to clean up; too much to clean up if they have their way. They also just want mindless revenge on the population that rejected them. This is sometimes called a "scorched earth" strategy; let's hope that's not literal. If only Putin and Trump can hold on for just eight more weeks. The days between now and Donald Trump's inauguration are going to be long and tense.
