The KLF Returns

The KLF has made another comeback. This is their first since their last reunion which happened in 2017, twenty-three years (of course) after their shutdown, see: https://hpanwo-voice.blogspot.com/2017/01/klf-reunion.html. Colin Woolford is as delighted as I am, being as much of a fan. He and I have spent the last two days sharing the newly remastered videos on the duo's new official YouTube channel, see: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbsEHtpoQxyWVibIPerXhug. The tracks are also available on the usual platforms, almost thirty years after The KLF's entire catalogue was suddenly and totally unexpectedly withdrawn. The charismatic rap vocalist from the Stadium House Trilogy singles, Ricardo da Force, passed away at a young age in 2013. In their final period, Drummond and Cauty had a considerable R and B influence and added some top artists to its team. The American country singer Tammy Wynette left this world in 1998. She sang the verses in the band's most famous track, Justified and Ancient. In true Discordian fashion, the rebirth of The KLF was announced by some graffiti on a wall in London. Cauty and Drummond's musical career was inspired by my favourite novel The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. The book was adapted into a famous stage play by Ken Campbell in 1976 and one of the production designers was Bill Drummond, Cauty and Drummond have reinvented themselves numerous times. With almost every new phase of material they would adopt a different name and image; however, The KLF is by far the most enduring form they have presented themselves in and I expect they will stick to it now. It is wonderful that 2021 has begun with such a positive occurrence. It must surely bode well for the next twelve months.
